Marvel Superheroes

Storm. Elektra

Storm:

I smiled at Rogue, my familiar voice and hers brought a swelling of happiness to me. "So good to see you again. You? Useless? Never. I do ..." My mind was interrupted by Xavier. I smiled. She groaned and rolled her eyes.

"Looks like the ladies of the X-men are going to have to show them who really is in charge."

Going to my communicator, I talk to all of the X-men.

"You all heard Xavier, We are having problems. We cannot all deal with Magneto here. We have to help out in Europe also. Please respond to me and let me know your status. No more vacation. Looks like I'm out of retirement."

I was retired at the age of 25. Sad. It felt good to be back. "Rogue, what do you say that we double team. If humans think we are trouble. Let's show them what we can do. Let's cause havoc and bring Magneto to us. As for Europe, we can probably deal with both."

Elektra:

I stared at her oddly. "Let me do the honors." Quickly, barely even noticed, I flipped and used the wall to propel myself silently towards the man. "Sir?" He whirled around, using my knowledge of pressure points, my arms flew outward. He had no clue what was going on. I swipped his feet out from under him and he fell with a thud. I cocked my head. "So you have heard of me...please do tell."

Psylocke

We screech to a stop a mere block away from the Embassy. I release my grip on the backseat of the cab and laugh as I lean forward to pay the cabby. His grin stretches for miles when I pop the extra 50 in his hand. He did get me here in less than 15 minutes. Exceptional work when one considers traffic in NYC.

I slip from the cab, my bag gripped in my hand. I needed to change. I couldn't very well walk up to the front door and expect entrance. A sardonic grin creases my lips at the thought, wouldn't that be rich. Oh yes, please, Ms. Braddock. Do come in. Let's have a spot o'tea before you rip my mind asunder.

I attempted another mental probe to Cable - seeking his where abouts. He was close, that I knew. I scanned for the origin of the distress call yet again, but whoever it was that first sent it, was more than blocked from me now. This didn't bode well and I could feel the hair on the back of my neck rise as a feeling of unease traveled over me. Perhaps I should have alerted the others before I rushed out. I quickly sent a telepathic message to Xavier and my fellow X-men housed nearby.

I should have mentioned prior to rushing out, my friends. I picked up on a distress call from the Embassy. Whoever sent it is blocked to me now. You as well as I know that is not a good sign. I'm not sure exactly what is going on, but I know something is up. I'm not entirely alone, Cable is nearby - but I am going in soon, with or without him.

I spot a small coffee house to my right. A perfect spot to make use of their facilities and change into something a bit more... comfortable.

I enter, making my way quickly to the restroom, locking the door behind me. I change in no short order, the black dress lying forgotten in the bag and my body (barely) covered by the familiar, snug costume. The tightness of it as it molds against my body a comfort, as is the katanas sheathed at my side and at my back.

I stuff the bag into a corner of the most distant stall and slip with ease out of the small window to the alley below. I scan again for Cable and lock on his position. I make my way to him using all the stealth and agility this body possesses - hidden from view in the shadows from all but the most observant of eyes.

Iron Man

Tony Stark stared out over the Manhattan skyline. A cool breeze swept through his penthouse apartment, bringing an unexpected chill. It seemed appropriate, for it seemed that bad times were coming.

Turning back toward his apartment, he thought of the events of the past few days. Magneto spoke of peace, of providing for the children of Genosha, but Tony knew there was something more. His instincts were seldom wrong, and they fairly screamed at him now.

Then, there was the business of Ultron. He had spent the day preparing his Iron Man armor, desperately trying to give himself any possible advantage against the armored monstrosity that was the Avengers' deadliest foe. He wasn't all that eager to put it to the test.

His contacts in intelligence had advised him of the presence of a number of mutants in the vicinity. Of course, it was to be expected; where Magneto went, could the X-Men be far behind?

"What a shit-fest this is gonna be," he muttered.

He smiled despite the sense of dread. If I'm going to die, he thought, then I'm at least gonna enjoy myself a little first.

Fifteen minutes later, Tony Stark was on the streets of New York.

Mystique

Mystique smiled at Electra and said,"What I have heard is nothing to what I have seen." Closing her eyes, she concentrates and, in a few minutes, she has changed appearances to the man who is lying at her feet.

"I think that I am ready," She said to Electra,"Now, if you will make sure that Saber does not interfer, I shall be back as soon as I have some information."

At that point, she enters the hotel and goes up to the front desk. As soon as the front desk clerk had his back turned, she quickly gathered the information of where the Xmen were staying and headed that way.

She had stationed herself in front of the door where Rogue and Storm were talking after passing Psylocke on the way up. She overheard Storm talking to the other Xmen and then to Rogue. A smile spread across her face and she was ready to hear more when Shadow Cat appeared. Gritting her teeth, she turned to smile at her.

"Good evening, Kitty," She said in the voice of the man she had taken the form of,"I am Edward and am an employee of the hotel. If you need anything than let me know."

Quickly, she moved away from the door and towards the elevator. She scowled. She was hoping to have learned more but Magneto would be very interested in what she had found out anyway.

Rogue

Rogue smiled at Storm and said,"When am I not ready for action? Lead on lady and I shall follow. I was getting bored just sitting around anyway."

Going to the door, she opens it and bumps into Shadow Cat. "Whoa," She said,"Looks like we have one more to throw into the pot."

Prodigy

So here I am the new kid and the so called seniors tour of the X-Men pretty much flat out ignore me. Right now I am resisting the urge to make my pressence known in all sorts of loud destructive ways but I stop myself and exert some self control because I know Xavier would be all over my ass if didn't. Instead I simply slip into the hotel room and basically get the hell out of everyone else's way so I could brood and bitch and moan about bieng the "junior member" of the team.

I simply sat in the corner of the room and focused my telekentics using the energy from my emotions and tried to move a small bottle of rum from the Mini bar however I accidentally made a mistake in aiming my TK. Woops I know I am end up hearing it for that mistake. I hope Storm will forgive me for this spill on her uniform. Damn just damn.

Wolverine

Standing beside the door as Rogue opens it, I take a quick sniff. "Ahh Shadowcat is home." I say as a smile appears on my face. But something else is present, a scent that isn't quite right.

Walking up to Rogue and Kitty, "Welcome home Kitty, you picked a good time to return. Unfortunatly, Magneto's goons are spying on us.

Rogue

Rogue's face turned down in a frown at Wolverine's words. "It figures," She says,"He never could play fair but then thats what this whole thing is all about now, isnt it."

Her face suddenly breaks out in a smile,"Well, more fun for us I say. It sure is good to have most of the old gang together. Now I just know we will foil whatever Magneto has planned."

Sticking her head in the door and looking at Prodigy, she said,"Well, get your butt movin', darlin'. We havent got all day. Storm has some action planned and I dont want to miss out on it."

Mystique

Mystique took the elevator down to the lobby and then stepped outside and into the alleyway where she found Saber and Electra.

Smiling wickedly, she said,"I have some news for Magneto. The Xmen are going to start some trouble in an attempt to draw us out. I think he will be very interested in this tidbit." Her face clouded as she added,"I would have gotten more but I was interupted."

"Come on, lets move and get this to Magneto."

I look at elektra as she coms out not saying a werd just whoching her werly. Then a few minits later mystique cums out saying that the X men are going to try to make use do som thing to betray ower intent. I crel my lep and head back to the ebisy the mystique and elektra on ither side of me as if they wher afrade I'd go do somthing stuped never mind that I probedly would if they whert ther.

Siryn

As her cab pulls up to Xavier's school, she notices a lack of familiar faces, an X-men desertion almost?? Gathering her scant belongings from the cab, she pays the fare and strides across the grounds towards the main building. As she approaches she looks about rather helplessly for anyone she knows. Upon reaching the building she takes a breath.

"'Ere goes nothin'." Theresa knocks tentatively on the door.

Siryn

At Siryn's touch, the door swings open silently on its hinges. The building is dead silent and dark in the late evening. Siryn cannot recall a time at which the mansion was entirely deserted, and feels a prickling of dread creep down her spine.

Cable

I stood on the north wall as Delgetes move in and out of the building. I knew for a fact that the voice i heard was someone i knew. As I start to move, Charles's voice enters my head then followed by Betsy's. I moved around where i could follow her.

I found her doing what she does best moving in shadows, I stoped her. "Well Bets, what do you think?"

Looking over Betsy, I think to myself "It has been to long" I make sure she didn't hear it either.

Tag Psy.

Shadow Cat

I jumped when the door opened, then broke out in a big smile as I saw Rogue there, and Wolverine.
"Nice to be back," grinning broadly.
"Nice to see you again Wolverine. How ya been?"
Smiling as she walked into the room, these people were her second family. She even chuckled at Magneto.
"And just think I was hoping for a quiet holiday!"

Wolverine

"Let's go inside Kitty, we still have a lot of planning to do." I say as I lead her inside.

"Well Ms. Pryde, I have been doing as well as expected. How have you been?" I ask, as I think back to the early days at Xavier's when I first met her.

As I take my usual place, standing beside the doorway my foot propped on the wall behind me, I cross my arms and look towards Prodigy. "Hey Prodigy have you met ShadowCat?"

Storm. Elektra.

(err...sorry I was gone...)

STORM:

I smiled as I saw a few familiar faces. "Welcome." I said to the Black Cat. "We cannot talk here, too many ways to be overheard. Let me see if I can get any other X-men to join me."

Going to my communicator, "Any available X-men, please report to me."

I saw Wolvy sniff the air, his nose had caught something.

Elektra:

I stared at the one they call Sabretooth. Aggressive looking man. I eyed him up. It would be a struggle if he turned on me. Taking a long slick black rope, shiny and extremely thin, from my utility belt, A collapsible hook was attatched at the end, I slung it towards a window.
"I'll be right back, stay boy." I cocked an eyebrow.

I had to survey the building, sleek like a cat, I flipped from windows, down, my movements blinding. Then I saw a reporter (k...pooh, if you don't like this...I can change it) A reporter I had heard so much about. Peter Parker. I dipped into the shadows. Approaching him, if he saw me, if their was any chance. I approached my prey.

Prodigy

Whew well one thing is good. Storm did not notice that I spilled my drink on her. Whew a lightning bolt up my ass in not exactly the way I wanted to spent my night anyways. I looked around began to relax using my still developing powers in subtle ways like moving around chairs, sliding objects across the table and of course copping a cheap feel on Rogue using a telekinetic hand. Ah the joys of being a mutant. However while I immersed myself on being an asshole I almost did notice even notice the Cannuck enter the room.

I discreetly make my way across the room, however the Wolvster and his supasniffer picked up on my scent before I got halfway over to him and said "Sup" and the Canadian introduced me to Kitty Pryde who according to Xavier's file was suppossed to be off on Muir Island. I answer Logan " No I have not met Ms. Pryde yet, but Xavier's files were well detailed about her. Hello I am AZ Escobar or Prodigy. Welcome to our humble hotel room because Xavier thought to the Motel across the street made the X in X-Men sound too much like a porno." After my exaggerated greeting, I kissed her hand and lean in real close to her and whisper "Here Kitty Kitty" then walk off just enjoying the expression on her face. Yep it's good to be a mutant.

Shadow Cat

Walking inside the door, looking around the room. "I heard on the plane that Magnito was hoping to join the UN. I wonder what plot he and his goons are hatching." Then smiling at Wolverine "I'm well overall."
Looking at Prodigy, I had to chuckle at his comment about X. Trying to picture X saying that, nearly made me laugh out loud. I was still laughing when Mr Escobar took my hand and kissed it.
When Mr Escobar leaned in and whispered "Here Kitty Kitty" in my ear, I was stunned. I watched him move away. Not knowing Mr Escobar, I decided there and then to put him on my 'keep an eye on and dont trust entirely' list. I smiled curtly at him, then decided to phase out and walk right through him. Always a fun thing to do.
Holding his eye contact, I concentrated, and WHIIIISHHHHH.
Heehee...I smiled at the look on his face as I slid right through him and tickled his ribs.
Staying phased I headed to the bathroom, smiling as I slammed the door.
Phasing back in, I freshened up and walked back into the room to get down to do some serious planning.

Storm.

I knew the new kid had accidently misused his powers. I ignored it. I saw him leaving.

"wolvy...I have a bad feeling. Tell me I am imagining things...."

I scanned the room. Going to my communicator. "Remy...tell me where you are. We have to move."

Ooc: No it's perfect.

Peter felt it at once. Spider-sense. He loved it sometimes, that little device had gotten him out of many a messes and saved his neck a time or three. This, however, was always an awkward moment for him. As Spiderman, he knows danger is near, but as Peter Parker, he doesn't know anything.
He looked around, still early in the morning, right before the sun comes up (let's hope just right before... jeez how long can one night take people) all sorts of wackos and loons would come out.
Peter quickly turned around, ready for anything. His webbing was ready, but he wasn't about to use it anytime soon. Only in an extreme case, if his secret identity came out why then....
He would probably get more dates.
Yeah, but he would also be fired from his job and have no private life whatsoever.
Peter decided which was worse, no privacy, or no girls.
Damnit, superheroing was hard, wasn't it.
Peter looked around at the catwalks and streets. Probably just a few thugs looking for some money, or maybe he was on their turf at the wrong time. Either way, he was taking some scum down.
"Come on out," he said slowly, but in his deepest voice he possibly could, "I know your there."

Elektra

"I'm only a figure of your Imagination Mr. Parker." I said, the words rolling off my tounge.

I walked out of the shadows, my boots clicking on the pavement. A light mist filled the air.

Quickly I flipped over his head, and behind him. I whispered in his ear. "It won't hurt, I promise."

Cable and Psylocke

From your vantage point, you see two remarkable things: one, a photographer of some sort has gone up near the embassy, where he has been accosted by a familiar figure, but you aren't quite able to make out who. Two, a very familiar figure has just risen into the skies above the embassy: Magneto has left the building.

You look at each other, deciding what to do, when another mental cry comes from within the building, much weaker than the first, but definitely the same nagging sense of familiarity.

She-Hulk

OOC: I am really sorry for the major delay in posting, small family emergency came up.

The She-Hulk is wearing a red, low cut evening dress, showing off her magnificent cleavage.

“Hey Benji!! Nice to see that your greetings are as original as always!” I give Ben my best shit-eatin' grin.

“Ok, yellow, tall and handsome, what are you doing in your work duds? I thought we were going out to have some fun!”

If it weren't for all those years of superhero schooling Peter would have jumped out of his skin. She was incredibly fast. It had to be a she, no man had that sweet a voice. The sweeter the voice, the eviller the villan.
Eviller? Oh man, he needed to quit skipping english class.
Peter whirled around, looking for whoever it was. Nothing. There was nothing behind him, he looked all around. The faint mist was making it hard to see off in a short distance, but he could make out everything near him, and there was nothing.
Damnit, if he knew for sure she was gone he would change into his costume. She even knew who he was, he had contemplated on using his webbing since he wouldn't be recognized. Good thing he didn't test out that theory, sometimes his brain got him into a lot of trouble.
It won't hurt? I promise?
He wasn't one for mysteries, but this certainly had his curiosity going. What was she going to do to him. Well, he had to bite the line to see if the fisherwoman would reel him in.
"What won't hurt?" he said aloud, but quietly, "Who are you, and what do you want from me?"
Way to smooth talk her Spidey...
Peter rolled his eyes and looked into the mist.

Mystique

Mystique looked around and sighed. Electra had disappeared. Oh well, she had to get this information to Magneto and couldnt wait around for her to finish whatever it was she was doing.

Grabbing SaberTooth, she said,"I have information for Magneto. We have to get it to the embassy. Our friend will catch up or she will loose out on the fun."

Hanging onto his arm, she walked quickly toward the embassy, not bothering to change into any other persona. Anyone could tell who she was anyway by the company she was keeping.
