Mystique i still want you to find him and as far as them excepting us. They will have no choice. Eithere they do it of there on choice or we will make them. As i have told Sabertooth. I don't want any personal vendetta's ruining this. I have also placed alot of trust in you. Do not make me regret doing so.For this dream is bigger than any of us. I had just stepped off of the plane. Going from The embassy in Egypt had me sort of scared. I was trying to form a mutant alliance there. Now with the news of the new monarchy taking over in the states, All hell would break loose. I had sent Gambit ahead of me. What was left of the original mutants, it was sad. Many of them had taken to other parts of the country. I was eager to see what we would have left.

I finally got out of the plane. I went into the bathroom and changed into my uniform. I sighed as the tight fabric hugged my skin, it was a feeling of comfort. My eyes flashed white as I made me way through the airport, stares and even mean looks came my way. I made it out the door, turned the corner and took to the skies.

Flying, I surveyed the area. Above me, the dark skies loomed with clouds, I calmed in the smell of an upcoming rain. Below me, In front of a bar, was a man, a knife glinting in the light of the neon sign.

He was aiming at a man whose back was turned. "LIghtening, bring your peril unto this man."

A flash of lightening, and the knife was jerked out of his hand along with a jolt. I swooped down. A huge boom.

I went to the ground. "humans." I muttered. I bent down to check his pulse.

Wolverine

Hearing the loud boom and seeing the bright flash of light, I jump up. "That can be one of two things, either the weather is getting bad fast, or an old friend is back in town also." I think to myself. *Sniff, sniff* "Yep it is Storm." I say as I lay my jacket and hat on the table by the fresh pitcher of beer the cute waitress brought just a few seconds before. "Watch my stuff Darlin', I will be back in a few minutes." I tell her as I rush out the door.

"So Storm, what brings you into town?" I ask as soon as I see her standing above the guy.

Mystique i need you to do me one other thing. I need you to arrange a meeting with me and Rogue. Don't ask me why . Just do it. Thank you.

CABLE.

Cable stood in the Alley watching Storm check the man's pulse. He took a step forword.

"Still looking out for the unforgent, Ororo" Nathen smiled as he approched her.

"Well, no hello, go to hell, what? Ro"

Storm looked at him, Nate stood there waiting for her to answer.

OOC: LOL..you are right Goddess...that is what I get for posting at 2 am...sheesh

IC: Mystique rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Magneto, you have to get over that girl. She has other interests now."

Still, she shrugged her shoulders and walked toward the door. "Xavier and Rogue it is." A smile creased her face. She was kind of glad to have a reason to see her 'daughter'.

Due to popular demand...

Spiderman slinged inside the window. A deep sigh escaped his throat as he stepped onto the floor. Another night of crime fighting, another night of mutant hating taunt, all of which he could handle pretty well. That is, until an eight year old girl looked at him, with pure hate in her eyes and began throwing garbage. Spiderman was tough, ask any of the numerous jail members put there because of him, but when she spit at him something snapped.
Spiderman looked at the mirror. A small cut was on his chest, letting a peace of material flap open and reveal a piece of his chest. Blood trickled from the wound. He kept doing this to himself every day, going out there and fighting just to simply be ridiculed and criticized. It seemed like something had riled them up more tonight though. Perhaps another one of Jameson's commentaries, he was notorious for them.
Why did he put on this mask every day? There were more than enough superheros in today's age. No one even liked Spiderman anymore. His powers weren't exactly something to compare to either, most of them had some sort of mind magical mistical powers and things like that. All he had was some web slingers and an inteligent mind. He could climb on walls too, but if you could fly or mentally teleport yourself to just about anywhere, wall climbing seemed a thing of the past.
He took off the mask. For so many years he had put it on, trying to do what he thought was right. Now he didn't know anymore. Maybe he should just lie back, and let others take his place. He threw the mask into his closet, and quickly slipped out of the rest of his costume. He had said it many times before, but this was it. He was a new person today.
It was simply Peter Parker, no more Spiderman, no more superheroes, no more deathly situations. It was simply Peter Parker.
Peter quickly shuffled under the covers, and fell asleep.

 

[LAVA GODDESSS]

Storm.

I smiled weakly at Logan. "I get myself into all sorts of trouble." I bent over the man and checked his pulse. I hadn't hurt him too bad.

The sky trembled with lightening, Logan told me to tone it down. "Don't look at me, that is mother nature herself."

I motioned to the man beneath me. "He was going to stab a gentleman in the back. He'll be fine. Just a bit...out."

I knew that this sort of trouble would start the second the new 'monarchy' began, mutants could no longer roam the streets for fear of hostile containment. I knew that Logan thought the same thing about the meeting. "cheer up Logan." I smiled.

Then out of the shadows came Cable. I stared.

"Look who we have here. A good ole reunion. Welcome Cable."

He stared down at the man. "He'll be fine. We better get outta here. Fast. The authorities are going to be here."

I whoch mystique wolk out the door a small smile on my face then I look at magneto and ask do you need me tonighte if you don't I think I'm going to go fore a wolk and before he can say anything I say don't wery I'm not going cos any trubil I just need to gite out of hear. I smile slitly and wolk out the door I snif the aer slitly giting a fresh sint of mistique. I cach an elavatr and ride down to the grouwnd flore once ther I wolk out the front door and look around. I see som limos wating to take any of the diplomat any wher they wish whith a polic escore. I cerl my lip at the Idea of reling on the polce and wolk down the street. I see pepil look at me with fear in ther eyes I smile slitly I rather like scering pepil.

I sevril street down I wolk in front of a hotel and I git a the sent of an old frend. I smile evily and think time to hav som fun I folw the sent to a bar and see storm wolvy and cabil. I stand and woch in an aly the wind blowing my sent away from woverin so he dosint now I'm whoching.

Cable walked forward ans smiled.

"your right, we must leave quickly. If we wish not to get caught"

Storm and Logan juat looked at him and moved on. Nathen followed behind them.

Shadow Cat

Lounging back in the plain seat, relaxing, Kat thought about her parents. Its been ages since she had seen them. She missed them, but thoroughly enjoyed working in Scotland. Even if it was damned cold.
Flicking though the in house tv on the plane she came across the Presidents news conference.
Listening, stunned, she shook her head.'Dont people ever learn' she thought to herself.
Longing for the plane to land, she thought she may pay a visit to some of her X-Men friends and see what their take on the situation is.
Looking at her watch, frowning, 4 hours till we land. Getting restless now, her thoughts shifted from holiday mode to work mode.
Finally the plane landed, Kat wrestled her way through Customs. A friendly "welcome home" from one of the Customs Officers and she walked out into the airport proper, and off to find a cab.

I eyed Cable. "let's"

Sirens filled the air. "Fog, mask our presence."

Fog filled the air. "Gust of wind, bless us with your wind, and carry us to safety."

As the winds swept in, surrounding Storm, Cable, and Wolverine, a familiar scent came clearly to Wolverine's acute senses. One whiff, and the thought burned so white-hot in his mind that Cable easily picked up with his telepathy, and Storm turned to see Wolverine snarl... "Sabretooth!"

 

[LAVA GODDESSS]

Storm. Elecktra.

STORM:

I saw that familiar snarl of Wolvy's. "Not now Logan. The police are too close. We can't sacrifice it now." But I knew, and I knew myself, we would fight.

"Lure him, Not here Logan. Cable...can you get into Sabretooth's mind?"

Ah, finally, back in command with the old crew. It felt exhilarating, but I felt a bad aura.


Elecktra:
(k, baddies, you have contact with her.)

I was instructed by the rest of my crew that some mutants allied against the x-men. I had no quarrels with them, but the x-men weren't paying me either.

Reaching for my communicator, I dial for the one they call "sabretooth".

"I am three miles north of the center of the city. where is your location?"

I tore off my bandana and let it flyaway in the wind.

Checking for my weapons, neatly tucked in inconspicuous places. I jumped onto a nearby dumpster and neatly flipped off.

I heard Sabre, or someone...reply.

 

[Neale]

ATTN: Peter Parker

Peter's long-desired sleep is disturbed by a phonecall. Groggily, he turns over and grabs the phone from the bedstand.

"Parker?" a very familiar voice, gravelly from long years of cigar-smoking, comes through the earpiece. "Jameson here. Wake up my boy! Got an assignment for you." Peter mumbles something in response. "That mutant menace Magneto is addressing the UN tomorrow. I want you there, with your camera. Hopefully, he'll do something that'll expose him for the criminal terrorist he is, and I want pictures! I'm sending Gyrich along, too, to write the article. You can meet him there, if you want. I don't care, just bring me back pictures! There'll be a fat bonus, if you can catch that web-slinging creep working with him! I just know they're in cahoots, and I want proof! Don't let me down, boy." A click signalled the end of JJJ's tirade, and Peter replaced the phone in its cradle. So much for sleeping in tomorrow. He'd have to call Glory, and cancel their plans.

Mystique

Mystique had traile Sabertoothe. Wolverine was close by and she knew trouble was going to be brewing. She wastnt sure if she wanted to stop it or join it. Oh, well she would decide when the time came.

She had morphed into the form of an average woman-one of the maids at the embassy so that she could go about unnoticed. Slipping into the alleyway, she spotted Saber and was about to approach him when she saw movement from the top of a dumpster. Well, well, what have we got here?

She stepped out of the shadows and let herself morph back into her normal appearance. "Well, hello. To what do we owe this great honor?" She said to Electra.

 

[Democable]

Cable.

(looks over at Sabres, he begians to stare and slightly projects into Sabretooth's mind.)

Nathen begians to walk thought sabes mind. after a few minutes he returns to his body and glances back at storm.

"Not much there 'Ro, just hatred and pain. plus a little twisted fantsty i saw."

I cach the sent of mystique folwing me but I ignore her as I whoch login fly away whith storm and that cable guy. I her my comunikter bip and then elektras vois wher are you. Then I cach her sent I say rite in frunt of you. I don't tern to her I just keep whoching wher the X men wher at I her mystique cum closer and say hello.

His equipment ready, and his coat slung over his shoulder, Peter was ready. He closed the door behind him...
but he stopped.
He had never left without his suit before. In the history of being a freelance photographer he had never missed the chance to help someone. He couldn't though, that game was over.
Peter took a few steps down the hall, but stopped again. He was going to photograph Magneto, he was going to be close to one of the greatest supervillans ever in the history of (Marvel comics) the world. There was sure to be trouble there, and would if security couldn't handle it.
Spiderman stepped back towards his door, letting his hand rest on the handle. No, he had taken an oath, never to wear that suit again. It was over, Spiderman was dead.
Retired...
he was sleeping in late today...
Oh shit.
Peter went in, and stuffed the already ripped suit into his camera bag. He muttered an inaudible amount of curses as he slammed the door and made his way to the embassy.
As Peter got into the cab he wondered about the irony of it all. Jameson hated Spiderman more than anyone else, but it was him who had brought him back to life. Peter still resented it, but at least now he didn't have that guilt running in the back of his mind.
Paying the fee, Peter went up to the steps of the embassy. This was going to be a long day... and it had just started.

I smile when the wind created by Ororo wisks us away from the scene. "You know old snaggletooth should bath more, he smells worse each time I get a whiff of him." I say aloud, not caring if Storm or Cable is listening or not.

My mind drifts to the failed meeting with Black cat, hopefully I can make it up to her one day soon if she forgives me.

Elecktra. Storm.

Storm:

I smile at Cable..."fantasy eh?"

"Whirlwind carry us to the location of the x-men."

My hair whirling around me, my eyebrows raise at Wolvey's comment. "I see you have taken to bathing..." I sniff the air in an attempt to mimic him. I ruffle his hair. "Lighten up, the gang is back."


We reach the location and I send fog around the building.

Elecktra:

I didn't like to be attacked from both sides, so they weren't attacking, but I still wasn't liking this. I didn't have to like them, I was just doing my job. I have never failed, so I wouldn't this time.

I look over at the one they call Mystique. I like her style.

I smile. "One who failed to identify himself has asked me to join you. I see those are our targets." I grab my sais (my three-pronged daggers)

I flip them then return them, it was a habit, I had to keep my hands busy. Already my mind was in assasin mode, trying to figure out what to do.

When sabretooth startled me, I sneered. "Don't do that again."

With all the mutants with so many powers against my mortal abilities, I had to be tough.

"I'm Elektra...if you didn't know. Hired assasin. I'm sure you have questions. I have some for you."

Mystique smiled at the woman. If she was a mutant, she might actually like this brash woman.

"So ask," She said to her,"We have time." Looking over at Sabertoothe, she frowned. "Couldnt stay away from him could you, Saber?"

I giv mystique a flat look and say I wosn't going to start any thing I just like keeping trak of hem is all. I tern to elcktra and say she will fil you in I'm going to a bar. I look at mystique agin and say don't take all day magneto whonts you to do somthing. I nod at elckra and say she maybe abil to help you.

Whith that I tern and hed to the bar wher logen had cum out of. I go to a back tabil and order a whisky.
