Married woman reunites with ex

I'm writing a story with a plot and character development for the first time. The story follows a guy and his former girlfriend in college going on a trip to visit a common friend. I would love to get feedback on the writing.

I'd love to know if the story was engaging to read or if it dragged on. It would be great to know the places where I need to work on. Also tell me what you found was on point, if anything. Though set in India, I tried to write something readers irrespective of background and nationality can enjoy. I would appreciate any feedback from authors as well as readers, desi or non desi.
