....has anyone thought of a few where such things lead to love and lust, at least on one partner's part?
I was thinking of a scenario where a man and woman get married for some strange reason....somehow convenience....or something like that....and they plan to divorce at some point later....so they can be free to be with others.....they also agree that, since it's a loveless marriage, with no guarantee of even sex....and it will last for a few years, that both can have other partners....
....here's the problem....
Wife gets involved with another man for a long-term deal, with the idea that she will marry him at some point, when the divorce comes through.....since she wants a commitment from him, she agrees not to sleep with hubby while dating him...not a problem, she says, since the marriage is a sham and hubby has women on the side too....
....then the other man dumps her, for one reason or another....she is seeking comfort....and turns to hubby for it....one thing leads to another....and they have marital sex for the first time since she dated that man...and then the wife begins to become interested in her nominal husband for the first real time....not just sexually, but romantically as well....
....he notices it, but has gotten so used to not loving her that he assumes that it's just a passing fancy and goes ahead with the divorce idea on schedule...and she reneges on the agreement...making him furious.....he confronts her....and she admits that she doesn't want to divorce him...because she really loves him....
....he's kind of used to having as many women as he wants to bed...so he resists it....but then she comes on stronger....he goes out of his way to drive her off by openly screwing other girls....it doesn't stop her....she even joins them a couple of times for threesomes....he tries Male Dom....she loves it...he tries FemDom...she hates it, but still doesn't leave him alone...he screws men, trannies, hermaphrodites...he introduces her to gang-bangs, rough sex....he even tries (watch your squeamish stomachs here...I'm trying for extreme efforts to scare off a woman) golden showers....she loves it...he's at the end of his rope, trying to get rid of this woman....deliberately risking pregnancy....everything that he can think of that usually works....doesn't work...
...this leads to a new confrontation....
He asks what it will take to drive her off, if other women don't (since that usually works when a girl comes on too strong- he flaunts other girls, she gets jealous, and they break it off)...he points out that the other man had been required to be faithful.....she laughs and says that was a subconscious test and the other man failed it....she wanted a lecherous, dominant man...and she probably drove the other guy away deep down because he wasn't dominant enough....and because he had cheated on her, anyway...after agreeing to monogamy...so, he was a liar, coward, and wimp, whereas hubby has shown his mettle....his balls...
...so she asks him....why are you opposed to love, anyway....he simply says that he sucks at it and that women demand things that he doesn't want to give them....such as fidelity....and he has been in the habit of avoiding commitment because of that....and has even used being married as a dodge....
...cue the hot sex and decision not to divorce.....and then her discovery, a month later, that she's pregnant...
....or one can do the opposite approach.....have the guy behave how the girl does and the girl like the guy.....
....just one scenario that came to mind.....or all of that, minus the swinging....as in, he settles down....but, I doubt that will work....given his nature....it would be an interesting effort....
Or a man goes a foreign country and somehow gets trapped into an arranged marriage to a woman......that could lead to some interesting ideas....including what if he is a bitter, jaded man who doesn't trust women......he wins a woman in a card game with an African chieftain.....doesn't believe it....ends up staying....or even wins more than one woman in a card game....can't go back and practice polygamy, because it's illegal in the States....so is forced to stay....
Or a sham marriage where the woman falls for the man, even knowing he's gay.....could lead to some comic misadventures (Humor/Satire here)....as she tries to "change" him.....
...or a fanfiction scenario....Friends related....where Ross persuades Rachel not to divorce so soon....and they end up getting back together in every sense....almost by accident....except that's what both of them really want....he uses the argument that if they like each other and should "happen" to get back together....wouldn't it be better if they didn't have to get married all over again....they're already married, why divorce and then remarry?
