emap said:Well used to be in America, it is one of those state by state things, Utah for a while said you could, Arizona had a small town full of those families though they have recently been taken apart, though not because they have multiple wife families.
It's also fairly prevalent in the middle east, I'm sure you've heard the stories about sheiks having harems, every woman in those harems usually was married to the sheik. Daughters grew up in the harem, though eventually left the harem and joined someone elses. Harems are still a fact of life there, though generally reserved for the rich.
Personally, I wouldn't mind having a harem of men, I'd get as close as I could if I didn't get really lucky and find myself living with a one man harem, not kidding he can give it to me as much as I want.![]()

what laws could that break?MNGuy said:My ultimate fantasy, living with my three dream women, but not getting married, because I don't want to be someone's bitch in prison, yo. So would the state interfere if you just lived with three women?

Mikro said:Bigamy is only illegal if you get caught. As the three people in this story agree to the marriage(s) then that shouldn't be a problem.
Otherwise you would have to change religion i'm afraid.
Pyro Paul said:Yeah Murder is also only illegal if you get caught too...
Mikro said:If 3 people agree to a bigamous marriage nobody die's do they and nobody get's hurt.

Nothing, absolutely nothing, is better left to the churches. Look at human history; all that religions do is start wars and persecute people who don't adhere exactly to their dogmas.Matadore said:... This might be best left to the churches. ...
imagine the "illicit" sex at the conference called to debate bigamy....snooper said:Nothing, absolutely nothing, is better left to the churches. Look at human history; all that religions do is start wars and persecute people who don't adhere exactly to their dogmas.
People are still having their houses firebombed, and being shot at this year over the difference between transubstantiation and consubstantiation at the Christian communion. (No I won't explain it - go look it up.)
