The first real step.



Why is this significant?

Ted Olson has argued 50 cases before the supreme court. He was the 42nd Solicitor General.

Big deal?...you betcha!

The other person involved in this lawsuit....David Boies.

Sound familiar? NO?


These two gentlemen faced off before the supreme court for the Bush-Gore fiasco.

Now they have joined forces. I probably spouted this when they first filed the law suit.

But now it's starting to happen. For real.

We have two individuals that have been opposites, fighting against one another.

But now...they are joining forces...and they will be kicking ass.


We're on our way......

Keep in mind that this is an argument made in front of a single Federal judge who as already stated that he doesn't have the authority to overturn Prop 8. What it will do is let him decide and lay out his findings. Those will have great bearing at the next appeals level in front of a three judge panel on the 9th Circuit. That's where the killer decision can be made.


As for this bear, he's got a whole lotta claws crossed!

David Boies was also a counsel to SCO in their failed lawsuit against IBM that led SCO in receivership. He take high profile cases, but loses more than he wins.
