Marie's Favorite Things

Yes ma'am! This is the one who hates my phone/wants me to smell his arse. 😂📷

Well.. as far as I know.. 🤓.. when cats wants you to smell their arses.. they are saying: I love you!

Yup.. 😂

But oooooh my gosh!! That little tongue.. 🫠 and the paws.. the paws... (I am totally not saying embarrassing gibberish sounds right now)❤️❤️❤️

He's adorable when he's asleep and not trying to destroy everything in sight. 😂

When we build someone up in our mind to be something that their actions clearly negate, we have to tear down those pedestals one brick at a time. Acknowledge the reality vs the fantasy. Then begins the moving on, recognizing patterns and red flags, being aware of ourselves and how much we want to be loved, but also not settling again.

Healing requires us to dig deep into our hearts and minds and bring up the hidden pain, kicking and screaming. It's when we expose it to the light that we can look it in the eye and say, "Fuck you, bitch. I'm better than that. You're not going to keep me down or keep me from loving myself, and those closest to me."

Healing isn't always a journey. Healing can be a quest that uncovers side quests (unknown wounds). Be prepared and be ready to fight.
