Oh yeah I forgot about that one, it's adorable and funny. It's kind of like the movie Tootsie only cuter. Not a real deep exploration of gender issues because the main character is straight and not crossdressing by choice, but likeable.

Oh duh, I can't believe I forgot to mention the one I'm currently watching! Cheeky Angel (Tenshi na Konamaiki) is about a boy who made a wish to become a man among men but instead got turned into the most womanly woman, and has been searching for a way to change back. The only thing I don't like about the show is that it seems to have rather a horror of homosexuality - the issue doesn't come up that often though.

Hmmm.. Gravitation is a shounen-ai(boy love) anime/manga and a few times the main character dresses as a girl, but it's not the main thing about it. It's about music and love between two guys.

Paradise Kiss has a character inside that grew up wearing dresses and stuff. and is possibly transgendered.

And lastly in the Fruitsbasket manga there is a part with a crossdresser character.(Fruitsbasket is my favourite manga until now, followed by Deathnote.)
