Zambian man bites his way out of python attack

A Zambian truck driver who was forced to kick, bite and stab his way from the clutches of a giant python, said Friday he was lucky to be alive.

Kelvin Katoka, 25, unknowingly ran into the giant snake, while driving his excavator in the bush at a copper mine in north western Zambia.

“Within no time, the python was all over my body and it then threw me on the ground,” he told AFP by phone from his hospital bed, where he has been recovering for nearly a month.

Rock pythons are Africa’s largest snake and can grow up to seven meters (23 feet) long. They have been known to kill and swallow whole antelope, wildebeest and even crocodiles.

Attacks on humans are rare.

I imagine the snake was prolly minding his own business when the bush bunny came along and saw dinner slithering across the road.

I'm reminded of a guy named Earl. At his trial he insisted that he was sitting on his porch, minding his own business, when the girl left the sidewalk, dragged him inside, and forced herself on him. The part about her escaping naked and screaming was just a clever ruse to disguise her real nature.

Well that ruse can work. On of the worst things I have ever heard was how that young boy escaped Dahmer and the asshole fucking cops brought him back to him.

Guess they had donuts to eat.

Pretty much why I've told my daughters if anyone assaults them, they come to me, not the cops. I don't want them to get dragged through the mud and made to look as if it were their fault which is what the sytem does.

Nope, only thing dragged through the mud will be there bodies with crossbow bolts sticking out of their eyes.
