Had the funniest damn thing happen today. So there I am bopping around another site, dispensing my pearls of wisdom to those who need it and generally having fun meeting new people. When out of the blue I get a message wondering what my 'problem' is.

Apparently something I said hit a little close to home with someone. Not sure why as my comments were not about them. This does make me wonder though, do you find being on the internet (and specifically discussion boards) makes you more or less bothered by what other people say? Do you assume that they are talking about you, even if your name is never mentioned or even alluded to?

I find it interesting that as much as the internet provides a sense of anonymity for some, at the same time it seems to make people more and more aware or worried about how they are perceived.

What do you guys think? Yes, I know deep question... there will be extra drinks.

The medium lends itself to misinterpretation due to the lack of visual or verbal communication cues. And also allows people a shield to hide behind, so they say things they would think to say in person.

I'll take my two gimlets now so I don't have to drag ya off your barstool after I chug the first one

here's a drink for the weekend

Guadalajara Sour
2 oz. White Tequila
3/4 oz. Lemon Juice
3/4 Oz. Simple Syrup

Shake and pour over rocks

Then top with a Rose wine and serve

I made these last night, they are nice Margarita alternative

Oh yeah - one other thing, use a spoon to 'float' the Rose wine on top.
