I'm kinda curious as to what tools/techniques anyone uses to shave down there.

I use an electric razor to get the bush out of the way just like I would on my face.

What I would really like to know is how people shave their assholes without slicing something open :p
I Hate the feeling of hair in that area, and the thought of going to the bathroom and stuff just sticking to the hair *shudders*

I have pinched my cock a few times with the electric and its not a pleasurable experiance!

I've never shaved completely because I've heard it itches way too bad. I use a pair of SMALL scissors to trim everything around down there and then once its short enough, then I would use a razor... but if ur gonna shave ur ass... I think u should go wax or a hair removing cream...ur crazy if u put a shapr object around ur ass. lol Atleast thats what I would do... I've never done it so I'm only guessing.

see thats what I was thinking too
its sounds a little crazy to be sticking sharp objects back there when you cant even see what your doing

I wanna be completely smooth

shaving my pubic area and balls has been pretty painless and easy. i just take a shower first... use some Gel.. and voila. Just remember to be careful and take your time.

as far as shaving assholes... ive never done that..

Still in the process of figuring out the best way to get it all in one go, but so far preliminary results seem to suggest that you can pretty much get 99% of the little sods by carefully shaving up the side of each cheek (ie the sides of your crack basically), good access to a mirror definitely makes it easier than going by feel alone. I use a Mach 3 excel and no shave gel/cream, I want to be able to see what I'm sticking 3 extremely sharp razors against, plus with a brand new blade and a bit of shower gel for lubrication I found little irritation or razor rash in evidence afterwards.

Around the ole starfish itself I take it I dont really have to suggest taking it careful? In truth though, it was a lot easier that I thought it would be. I suspect however that plonking yourself down on your back on a towel in front of a suitably placed free standing mirror would make life a lot easier (you need both hands for the shaving).

Itching hasnt been too bad though I did feel a bit "damp" for a few days afterwards, hard to explain the sensation any other way than it felt like I was perpetually walking around after a wet fart .

On the plus side, I'm saving a fortune in toilet roll (sorry for the gross out fact).

Seeing as I should have some showing up soon, do I want to enquire whether anyone has tried using Magic round this area?

I use a regular razor(mach 3)...and just do fine with it...

as for the itching...I apply Johnsons Moisturizing Oil afterwards to prevent that...

no problems in the 2 years Ive been doing it :)

I use a Mach 3 and liquid soap as I'm taking a shower. Just reach back (and under there), and shave. It took me awhile to learn, but now I can usually get all the hairs "in the crease" without any trouble at all.

and it looks sexy enough that I'd lick myself all over if I could. :p

the person who invents a fast easy safe painless itchingless way to remove hair will be so damn rich

*thinks of ideas to patent*

:p :D

Bump!

my man uses a Mach 3, with sensitive shaving gel. the first time he did it, he uses some scissors to cut the hair really short. and he always uses baby oil afterwards to soothe the skin.
hope that helps!

Sounds like great advice..........

OK, I got bumped ;)

General: Magic is very good, but not on your "general" Pubic hair, i.e north of the pole (mine is certainly a bit thicker and more dense). Personally I find it no better than shaving and generally have to go over with the razor to tidy up so stopped bothering.

For doing your danglies and arse crack, Magic is still the best way, it lasts about a week before it really needs attention and is a lot more thorough.

Current regime is pretty much:

Once a week get the ole sack and crack Magic'ed. Every couple of days mach three the rest in the shower along with the face.

I am still considering trying wax, but I am not sure I can really cope with it tbh, ditto just letting most of the hair between belly button and danglies grow back. I've kept some purely out of personal aesthetics, but I do hate trying to keep that looking neat.

As for gel etc, I dont really bother, as long as I've soaked in the shower for a bit and used residual shampoo, it seems to soften up enough so why waste even more goo?

[edit] Word of advice with magic. 9/10 I get no problems. That other 1 time, it starts to "tingle" (ie burn) wash it off, straight away. When it burns, it burns good. I spent two days with burns and stubble and underwear all fighting for attention.... not good.

ok, well after reading all of this, decided id try to go bald, just for once, just to see and feel what it was like.

Oh boy, was it tricky, it must take lots of practice. I started with Veet hair removal cream, but missed the bits that wore off as i walked around getting tea, so got my husbands mac3 and a new blade with shave oil and it took no time.

Im never gonna have hair again, its fabulous! Thanks guys.
mwah!

You do realise we need photos after a post like that one :D

First time, you are going to miss bits. If you are using a hair removal cream, leave it a few days and give it another go. After than you can pretty much switch to a razor (I just prefer Magic where its softer as it lasts longer). As I mentioned I combine the two, New blade is definitely recommended, I have two. Face is used to getting scraped, so the bits get the new blade, 3 goes or so and its relegated to face duty (yes the filthy thoughts have already occurred to me).
