Male orgasm issues

So, now I've been on this forum for a while I thought I would post a conundrum out there and see if anyone else has ever had this issue or knows anyone who has.

I am a healthy 27 single male and I have only had one orgasm that I can remember my entire life. Now while this may seem farfetched, I guess I should explain that I do in fact ejaculate but that whole "heart pounding, body shaking, lightning bolt" feeling I can only remember having the first time I'd ever cum. Since then its more of a feeling of "release." While it feels great and all that, I do feel like I am missing one of the greater pleasures in life (if not the greatest).

I understand that it is a known fact that some women have trouble orgasming, but I cannot find a single medical or non-medical article that references this being an issue with men. So I am throwing it out to the ever-resourcesful literotica community to see if anyone could steer me in the right direction.

Thanks

I have heard of this. There is a lot of work on this issue, but not in western science (where semen = orgasm) This mentality is wrong (chenk out ZEN sex and TAO sex). Most often the issue is one of too much masturbation too quickly. Hold off a few days, even a week, then when you have time, make it a whole body experience. Think about what you hear, smell, see, make it sensual. Also take your time! Get to the edge and back down. Do this two even three times. Eventually you will orgasm. Just let go and enjoy it rather than jerking in a shower real quick or something.

kyle: IMX, ejaculation is a different animal from an orgasm. it's easy to ejaculate when you're masturbating; it's a lot harder to orgasm. for me, it's a matter of how emotionally invested i am in the stimulus. i generally don't have much trouble with it when i'm with the mrs; when i fly solo, it's more or less impossible for me.

I have heard this as well as the whole "slow down" suggestions, and I will not knock them because I do believe they work.

I will admit I have taken some of the advice from the tantric universe and have tried to apply it to myself with little success, but maybe it is time for another try.

I guess what bothers me is that it has only happened once, so while I must believe its not impossible it sure does seem like it at this point... which is why I have begun to wonder if it is more of a chemical imbalance or something along those lines.

Are you taking any medications, such as antidepressants, antihistamines, or blood pressure medications? Some of these can affect orgasm.

I have been on several medications off and on my entire life due to various issues... but this is something that has been going on since i was 14, which the only medicines I was taking at the time were asthma related (and I am no longer on).

how does blood pressure related medication effect i also feel i am not up to it these days though i am older (49)

For me to get hard and close to orgasm and then back off and build back up works wonders. Although if you have a partner massage your prostrate when blowing you. You will know a mind blowing orgasm. If I had died then and there I would have been content. :) When masturbating my orgasms are maintenance like, nice, but not truly satisfying...

Beta blockers may reduce testosterone levels. Propranolol (Inderal) may be one of the worst.
