Ooooh difficult one. I've met a really tough couple of "top" guys who had their nipples pierced. Actually one of them had, like, EVERYTHING pierced!!
My ex-Mistress though, used to talk about getting mine pierced so she could lead me around with them so I guess it works both ways.

Had mine pierced yeas ago and I am a Top. See lots of Tops and bottoms wit piercings. Not a sign of anything except that you like the feeling of pierced nipples. Just my opinion.

I love them and find both nip and PA piercings to be incredibly arousing. Huge turn-on for me.
FWIW I am a bottom, don't have my nips pierced, but would love to get at least one done. ( I am just too chicken...as it is rather painful and takes some time to heal properly. )

I'm like you, I'd need the symmetry: both done or none!
If I were to get only one, I'd thing about it this way: If I were tweaking it myself for the most part, I'd want it on the right, since I'm right handed.
If my right-handed lover would be the one tweakin me the most, (hopefully while blowing me... GOD i love that
) I'd need it on the left nip, for easiest access

Had mine done. It sure was painful. My cousin is a tattoo and piercer so I got it done free. But I guess I held it in too much on the first one as the second one hurt even worse. I guess she didn't feel like I felt it enough the first time. LOL She was apologetic, though!
Unfortunately, one came out over night and I wasn't able to get it back in. In the name of symetry, I took the other one out. I hope to get them pierced again. Hopefully it won't hurt as much the second time!
