Looking for a long-form on-going story about a high school teacher who returns home and starts to get (re)acquainted with a number of different women.
He left his previous job and girlfriend after being accused (and absolved) of sexual impropriety at his previous school.
He has a childhood best friend in an alt-band, pretty sure her name was Beth... that's the only name I can remember.
Pretty sure there was some sort of plant or tree in the title of the town or the story.
