I save George for pet rabbits.

I was never much good at naming pets as a child. I had a run of Parakeets, all named Robin (don't ask ME why). I had a cat named Flower. I once had a pair of dogs named Caesar and Cindy, although my mother helped a bit there. Then I got a used dog (already had a name) and got into nicknaming everything.

For example, I keep wanting to call you LadyLa....I don't know WHY...and I haven't actually DONE it...but when I see you on, I think "Oooh, goodie, LadyLa is on!"

Heehee! You remind me of my dad and older brother, with my brother's youngest daughter. Dad and Bro would look at her very seriously, point to her nose, and say "Elbow". Then at her elbow and say "Ear". All very solomn and serious. And she just KNEW something was up, but she couldn't figure out what, and so she'd point to her elbow and say, just like they did, "Ear..."

OOo my own special name for English Lady -- it will be like a secret club name (I can be so 12 sometimes ) We can call it the We Like Fresh Washed Boys or...something like that...

I like Shirley as a rabbit name. Makes me think of Shirley Valentine. I loved that movie. I had some goldfish once, but only for about two days, so the naming part wasn't all that important....
