Making Good on a Loan (Closed for sallythescorpion)
Thomas Mancini could not help but grin as he looked in the mirror. The tall, darkly-handsome mob boss was satisfied with how he looked in his tailored suit, his hazel eyes reflecting that pleasure back at him. He had a bit of business that he had to attend to this day, business that he would have left to his enforcers if not for the person it was with and the amount of money it had involved. Once he was ready, he made his way down to his car, giving his driver the address of Greg Perkins.
****
Greg Perkins was nervous, to say the least. He was a small-time politician, who'd had some trouble the last election cycle with funding. When Thomas Mancini came along, offering help with the situation, he didn't have much choice but to accept. He had won the election after this, but the job didn't pay enough to make the payments on Mancini's 'help'. Now the mob boss was on his way to discuss their arrangement, and he knew he was going to have to talk things over with his wife. Eying the clock, he could see that he didn't have too much longer before Thomas would be there, so he got up from his study and began to look around the house for his wife.
