Make-up?

The only make up I wear is a stick of carmex. Unless you have an acne outbreak I do not see the point. I'd rather have nice skin than a pretty temp mask.

As for men, I see nothing wrong with it. Men wore make-up until the 1850s. If they want to wear it, be my guest. Hells, One of my former male roommates used to swipe my tinted moisturiser, because he liked the even tone that it gave his skin.

Gay...[/QUOTE]

The Victorian Age wasn't that gay:rolleyes:

every day, but only enough for a bit of a glow :) nothing worse than when women don't put it on properly

proper diet / exercise / lots of water are the main foundation for good skin...it all starts there :)
invest in a good quality moisturizer, and get your eyebrows done once a month - with that, you don't need too much else for day-to-day wear :)

Anyways:rolleyes:

I forgot to answer this

I can care less if men want to wear makeup. I knew a lot of guys who wore foundation or the bare minerals product to hide their acne.

You been brows done profesionally? The only thing I get done professioanlly is a hair cut once in awhile. I think it is insane how much woman pay on make up and hair care.

whenever I rip the medical tape off of the male patients, taking the hair with the tape, I make them feel better by saying, "you're lucky. they charge me a fortune for this at the spa." :)

I was just messin with fire breeze..personally, I don't care. lol

:p

I know you weren't talking with me, but for the past year, I've had my brows threaded and I absolutely love the results. They look cleaner, neater, and not 'done'

When I lived in NY everyone loved threading! My twin kept trying to get me to get it done but I never did. I did in HS though from a classmate. It was a smooth fin

I just like a quick beauty regimen. I don't mind doing my own brows. I have an ancient double mirror with lights and stand so really easy to do it fast.

People can do what they like best for themselves, but I never understood wearing tons of makeup. When I was younger I would sometimes play around "painting my face" with makeup but I've never gone out with a lot on. I was with a guy for a short while who loved heavy eyeliner/eye makeup whereas my current boyfriend isn't such a big fan.

That being said, I prefer going daily without makeup. I figure that as a student I can still get away with it. When I enter a profession, I'll probably go with a daily mascara swipe and not much beyond that. It depends a lot on the environment though. I would look stupid in a law firm with full face makeup or glitter eyeshadow but I might look like I don't care with no makeup.
I never understood women wearing full face makeup for sports/exercise...or why they get all upset when they sweat.

So, yeah, I barely wear makeup, but I do put it on for dances/special dates/weddings/parties, etc. and it adds a little something special that shows I put the effort in for something more important. I'd rather be beautiful without it though (I've never worn makeup on a first date because I want guys to see me, not a mask).

I don't wear very much. Just some mascara, lipstick or gloss and sometimes some eye colour. I do use an eye lash curler which makes the lashes pop alot more then just with the mascara alone. I use a night cream. I used to to do whol foundation and powder thing when I was young and single in the big make-up/hair days of the 1980's. I just find less is more.

See, that just goes to show how inept I am...i had some eyelash curlers and ended up with hardly any lashes on one eye. I ripped them all out with the curlers because someone told me to put a coat of mascara on first...luckily they all grew back...

Never dared to try them, that is exactly what I,m afraid of..
bet that hurts like hell!?

If I am not going out? It's just moisturizer, mascara and lip gloss.

If I am going out? Then it's eye liner, mascara, blush, a dab of concealer

and lip gloss.

I can get in the shower and be ready to go in about 15 minutes. I have

no reason for foundation, powders, etc........ take GOOD care of your

skin and you wont either.

Depends on where I'm going and what I'm doing...

For uni, usually very little if any at all. However, I have jet black hair so usually need something to avoid looking completely drained.

For work #1 usually only a little mascara and perhaps some colour on my face, or concealer for under my eyes (if I'm on a string of night-shifts). Never more than that simply because it's so hot on the ward that it'd only melt off and/or down my face. Which just aint a good look.

For work #2 it's actually in my contract that I wear make-up. For me, this usually means some concealer (if needed), blusher and eye make-up. I don't usually wear anything on my lips because it annoys me. Seemples.

ETA : For nights out with the girls it's a full face of make-up. Part of the going-out ritual I suppose. x

For me, mascara is a must..........but there are some days that I do without it!

Usually if I know I'm going to going to do something....like help out in my child's class or have errands to run........I use moisturizer, foundation, mascara, eye liner and blush.

If I am going out with friends it is the same.

I have gotten to the point where I am okay with going to run to the store without make up on.

I am a big fan of NONE for both men and women. Seriously, you'll never catch me painting dried out bat dropping on my face. :D
