You can work on New Year's resolutions if you haven't already made enough.
I haven't had to work it for so many years I've forgotten what that's like. I tend to spend them quietly, but every 3-4 years I go kick up my heels a bit, and the number of invitations for Tuesday evening certainly suggest this will be a partying one.
