Make a haiku

Touched by you, I gasp:
Fingers find, unexpected,
A new, trembling place

beating the alarm
i wake on my mind's schedule
to find that it's wrong.

old journals open
little windows to gaze through.
should i really look?

lazy fingers trace
along my spine: touches sear,
branding your desire

needing distraction,
numbers adding in my head...
a nerd's escape plan.

just walking the dogs
being pulled this way and that...
hmm, feels just like life

Watching you walk by
Wanting to reach out to you...
No, it's ok. Sigh.

No one else can know:
A flower, placed across your desk
held there by a kiss

thinking of our cave
my mind tightens around you,
hoping you will stay.

You hugged me today.
Just friends: then why does my heart
memorize your touch?

sleep looms finally
and i look to dream again...
us in full color.

I wake with a start -
Dreaming, yet hearing you moan:
Hardened, I shiver....

frustration kicks in.
too much, too much...can't stop here...
this is bat country.

wine fuzzys the head,
washing broad strokes over thoughts.
tonight's paint is plaid...

Tickling my nose,
Waking me up like coffee:
Scent of leaves and dew.

Gave you a backrub.
Good thing we were in public,
And my pants were loose. :D
