I have recently just started shaving my wife's bussy bare. Since quite a few of you lit ladies have a bare pussy, I need to know the best way to maintain it. Last time I shaved it my wife complained that I shaved it to close and she got razor burn. Any advice on best way to shave it and how often I should shave it? Also are there any good dipilatory products out there that can be used without causing too much irritation to the genitals. Any advise from you bare pussy lit ladies would be appreciated.

Razor burn is common for newly shaved areas -- the skin toughens up and razor burn decreases if you keep it up.

Search for "Magic" or "Magic Shave" -- there are tons of threads on Lit's semi-official depilitory. the patch test is NOT optional but if she passes the patch test and can use it, it solves almost all of the problems with staying smooth.

If your wife cannot, or does not want to, use Magic Powder, putting lotion or baby oil on any freshly shaved skin will help keep the area smooth and soft. Prolonged use of lotion/oil will help in future shaved to come.

Also, there is a lotion out, by Jergins, that is supposed to reduce how often you shave your legs... It will work on the pubic area as well.

i, too, have tried the Jergen's lotion and it does work well...

i am also highly partial to cocoa butter oil and cocoa butter lotion...

in time the hair will become finer, softer and the razor burn will fade...

As stated above, the razor burn will fade somewhat with time. I use two products that I've found especially nice. A pure Aloe Vera gel (many name brands, sold in drug stores, but always look for "pure") that I use directly on the genital area. It's pure and soothes, without burning or irritation.

I also just started using "Bikini Zone" for the bikini area, and it has really helped in keeping the irritating little red bumps and such away. Plus, it seems to slow hair re-growth.

Good luck!

Have her take a hot bath every time before she shaves. Then have her put lotion on it right after and every day after that.

This may also help.

It also greatly depends upon the razor you are using. I once was told by a 30 year stripping veteran to only use twin blade disposable razors. Use them a few times before tossing them in the trash. I also find that the ones with the "strips" help to lubricate the area thus reducing razor burn. She also mentioned not to repeatedly go over the the same area as this also could cause irritation. I, personally, find that to obtain a really close shave it helps to work on one area at a time and go in all four directions; up, down and from side to side if at all possible depending upon the area you are shaving.

I am curious about "magic powder"?? I am, unfortunately, in a small area with limited shopping. Might this be available in ordinary drug stores?

I hope this helps. Thanks in advance for any answers anyone can provide me.

Is this the time to tell your wife that your saliva (applied with your tongue, of course) is the best solution to keeping her mind off of any irritations??:D

As far as any medical or pharmaceutical tips, I've always tried to avoid shaving that area with multiple passes. While it looks as though you're really not doing much other than dragging the razor across, it does scrape off another layer off. Hopefully that'll help reduce the razor burn. And a fresh razor is always a must.
