Magic Depilatory Lotion

I came across this board several weeks ago while looking for an effective way to remove hair on my bikini line, and now I'm back with a few questions. Based on the almost unanimous recommendation, I tried Sensitive Skin Magic Lotion. No bumps or irritations, but it didn't quite remove all the hair - I'm left with a fine amount of stubble. What am I doing wrong? Can I use the small spatula/scraper and go against the grain, or should I try using the full-strength formula instead? Thanks for any advice; you guys seem like a great on-line community.

As a Nurse, I recommend ALWAYS use a patch test to see if your skin is sensitive to Magic. That is a really sensitive area down there. DO NOT get it in/on your inner, tender pussy flesh!!!

First off, remember those directions are for a MAN'S facial skin, not a woman's more delicate skin, near her pussy. So a skin/patch test - always.

Spatula? Try something like a wooden "orange stick" used in a manicure, or save the one from the popsicle you and your lover like to play with.

Follow the directions on the can! I read in the other thread where someone put the powder directly on the skin after a shower. DON'T DO IT. The wetness of the skin will vary, depending on how long it's been since you got out of the shower and put it on your skin.

Follow the directions. The manufacturers have figured out how much water to add to make it safe FOR A MAN'S FACE - NOT YOUR PUSSY!!!! Patch test!

Of course, do the patch test. I've used it for long enough now that I'm comfortable with it and getting it just on the hairline close to the inside of my pussy lips doesn't bother me any. I certainly would be careful, but it won't kill you if you get it just on the inside edge.

I have no problem using the lotion, and yes, I use the spatula against the grain of the hair. I find that takes most of the hair away, and then use a wet wash cloth in the shower to wipe the rest away.

How long did you leave it on? The longer the hair I find the longer I need to leave Magic on. If I'm using it regularly, the minimum time of 6 minutes works for me.

Hi one and all (Especially Tina!!! Yes, I first heard bout using depilatory from Tina, but was afraid to try it. I finally saw the Magic Lotion when I was browsing in a store and decided to give it a try. I've been completely shaved for about 5 years (using an electric razor), but that required shaving at least avery other day (I'm blonde, so mine isn't too bad). However after using the Magic Lotion for about a month, I find I can go 5 days to a week before a "re-treatment". And I have to admit, it's much, much smoother. Thanks all

Cheyenne...the foremost expert on Magic Powder/Lotion posted a link to an online drug store, but try as I might I can't find the Magic Lotion there.

I just found the information on the Magic Lotion and all your wonderful commentary. I then tried that link, http://www.planetrx.com/product/nonrx/product_detail/info/500552568-64093.html and I could not find the Magic Lotion on the site at all.

Did you gals use up all the supply??? LOL
