Alex is a 60 year old mage who tutors young witches. He lives in modern day New York city and has a rather small add in the phone book. Technology has made magic a moot point for many people. Because of this, he's often dealt with many prank calls. He doesn't have a large pointy hat, or a white bushy beard. No, Alex is like any other person in the city, he has a trade and he practices it often. When he's not practicing his trade, he spends his time in his office. The one bit of technology in his apartment is a corded black phone.
