I'm watching Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother right now.

Will there ever be a better team than her and Gene Wilder?

I doubt it.

I miss her a lot.

She was brilliant in sooo many movies. Blazing Saddles. High Anxiety. Young Frankenstein. God, she was good. What a loss.

Yes, no no no no no no Yes, no no no no no no Yes no no Yes no no...

My favorite of all her lines.

She's old. lol. And neither as funny nor as busty as the great Madeleine Kahn...but that combination of sex appeal and humor is rare indeed.

Madeline Kahn

She was certainly one of my "idols"! I was fortunate to see her perform hysterically funny numbers at several Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids events, and saw her performance on stage in Broadway's "BORN YESTERDAY". Her stage presence was magnificent, and she is truly missed.:rose:

So good that she'll be remembered in her many film and TV roles (does anyone remember her short-lived TV series?):rose:

She was so funny in the last episodes of the Cosby Show that ended a couple of years ago. I loved watching her. Especially when she would sing along with what he was saying. That woman had talent!

Is it twue what they say about you people?

Ahhh. It's twue, it's twue!

Other great parts for her were in movies "Paper Moon", "Simon", "What's Up, Doc?", and on Broadway, "The Sisters Rosensweig". She had a TV series, "Oh, Madeline" and also was in "New York News" with Mary Tyler Moore.

She had a classically-trained mezzo soprano voice that could have given her an opera career.

I think her first big break was on a summer replacement variety TV show called "Comedy Tonight" (using the theme song of the same name from "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum") Robert Kline also starred. This was about 1968. CBS, saturday or sunday evening.

Her voice was incredible.
