"You know, am I mad at God? Yeah, I'm mad at him," O'Reilly said. "I wish I had more protection. I wish this stuff didn't happen. I can't explain it to you. Yeah, I'm mad at him."

I hope the below is true. Religion has no place in politics, and is the major cause of the current divide we are facing. I, for one, am tired of these supposed Christians that do not have real christian values.
TOGETHER, FOR BETTER OR WORSE
In the end, the politicization of religion could come back to haunt politiciansâand church leaders. In fact, surveys of young people show this to be a contributing factor in the rise of the religiously unaffiliated, says Prothero. These so-called ânones,â expected to grow to roughly a quarter of the population in 2050, donât want to be associated with a partyâor politiciansâthey may not agree with. âI think the vitality of American religion has really been hurt by the recent push toward more and more religion in the political space,â he says. âAnd there are some evangelicals saying, âYou know, we made a mistake. We need to get out of this political game, because our brand is being hurt.ââ
