So, I was bored and reading the Wikipedia article for the Macarena, and it sounds like the original Spanish song would make a good basis for a story. Basically, you have this girl, named Macarena (named after, of all things, the Virgin Mary), whose boyfriend is joining the Army. She celebrates by hooking up with the boyfriend's two best friends. :D

The English version of the song is a bit different, but the gist of it is the same.

So, any thoughts?

Well, first of all, with respect to Wikipedia submitters, there is no one song for the dance (may have inspired Ricky Martin's "Lavita Loca").

The fad is from all over Latino countries, which eventually found its way to South America.
The Spanish song heard on the music video is the most popular though (even by Melinda Mynx and Dot from Animaniacs).

What a coincidence, so does the pop star Madonna.

Actually, the story goes that she is a tease, stringing these guys along.
She feels guilty (for just a minute) and contemplates leaving one, but she doesn't know which one, so she continues to play these guys without remorse.

Actually the translation is "pure", which is the joke because of her impurity.
The translation is pure because The Madonna is pure, it's not exactly meant as a literal translation of the person.

I know what you're thinking, and you are correct, I don't know this for sure, but this is the most reasonable explanation in relation to macaroons, which are covered in coconut.
Coconut is white.
White is the color symbolizing purity (also piece, love, and harmony).

Actually, I was thinking "I really should decide what to cook for dinner", but that's besides the point. :D

Well, at least according to Wikipedia (which, as we all know, is utterly infalible, no matter how many people make edits to it  ), La Macarena is the title given to the Virgin Mary in Seville, Spain. How the one name came to be associated with the other is beyond my vast knowledge (partially because my knowledge, while vast, mostly includes Babylon 5 and Star Trek trivia of dubious usefulness)

And whether she strings them along as a tease or takes both of them in a marathon spitroast fuck, I think there's potential for a good story either way.

Menerva Minx. (I think her "last name" was with an "I" anyway. First is Menerva for sure.)

Whether it is "true" to the song, or not, this theme is still a fun one. What girl doesn't want to play with two of her boyfriend's best friends while he's over seas in the military? ;) :D lol

Lol i remember the Macarena (song) did pray that i would never hear it again tho

I stand corrected.
It's Minerva Minx, and yes, it's spelled with an "i" (I thought it was like lynx).

Guess what I just found:
Who is your Animaniacs favorite characters?

Let's see...

For my basic cartoon perversity, Hello Nurse.
For my furrie fetish, Minerva Minx.
For my inner evil Genius, Brain.
For my love of a great schtick, The Goodfeathers.

Non-Animaniac honorable mentions...
American Maid, from the Tick.
Lord Bravery, from Freakazoid.
Miss Information, from Hysteria.
