Does anyone out there know where to find inexpensive software that I can use to create gif animations for AVs, etc?

I have Photoshop, so is there a plug-in (say, in After Effects or something) that works with Pshop to do this?

I'm also in the market for a good morphing package that runs on the Mac.

Preferably, something that does not use the Tic-Tac-Toe interface. More preferable would be some kind of bezier curve interface that influences the movement of the images.

Any reccomendations for this?

Please post here or PM me.

Thanks.

What version of Photoshop do you have? Version 5.5 and up comes bundled with Image Ready which you can use to make animated gifs. Otherwise do a search for free animators, there are tons, some good, some ok. Microsoft has one, I downloaded it it's free, but haven't used it. Image Ready is not really intuitive to use, but not too bad.

Doh! Yep, I discovered this today. Finally had some time to look more closely at Pshop. And you're right, it's not very intuitive, but within any hour or so, I had some animation created. Then, it only took me another hour to figure out how to save it out in .gif format. lol.

I'm still looking for some decent morph software. Any hints?

Thanks.

Good morphing software? Look to Kai's stuff (which is now owned by Corel Corp). Also, browse through the software libraries at cnet.com for try-before-you-buy morphing software...

Good Luck!
