A strong, haughty and independent wife gets caught cheating by her husband. For her punishment, he arranges a gang-rape. Totally broken, she becomes fearful and timid. On her knees, she begs forgiveness and pledges lifelong submission to him. Then her training begins.

So I think the problem here is - you've sort of described the basic premise of a crap ton of bad porno.

Why would a gang rape break her? I can see several alternates here - both far more credible:

• She loves it - and the hubby is crushed
• She calls the guy with the biggest cock out by name - they have a history. See above
• She has her attorney subpoena the 'gang' with promises of a far better payout than the husband did (sex not money)
  • With the ending being ala the 70's movie The Naughty Victorians where he is buggered by the guys he hired. More here.

Okay okay there is the entire suspend disbelief thing but...

Depends on how it is written. If she becomes a willing slave and gets pleasure from it, then it should be fine.

An unwilling slave is a no go.
