I think I know what you are saying. But maybe you are overthinking it a bit... you are worried about your ability to unplug before you are even in the situation. Just wait tilll you get there and see how you feel. At that time you shouldn't have to "make" yourself relax, it should just be natural if you are enjoying the setting and the weekend. I guess what I am saying is that you won't really know till you get there how you will feel... so don't add extra stress beforehand.

I don't mean any disrespect at all when I say this, but I can't believe all this analysis is over a luxurious weekend at a posh hotel paid for by someone else! It just floors me - though I am probably too laid back for my own good.

I hope you come back and tell us that you enjoyed the weekend. In the meantime, keep doing your work and don't worry about the upcoming getaway.
