Hi All

Hi All! I just wanted to drop in and check out the palce. I was told that it is a relaxing place that will help my creative juices flow. I have never been one to write but since joining Lit and with the encouragement of friends and reader I have been able to express myself and explore a bit. I hope you dont mind me posting. I am no where in the class of most of you but Ill give it a shot!

Phillychocolatem, we all cut our teeth somewhere when it came to writing..if you look you will find even on the thread a new writer, so give it whirl this is the place to do it..if you need assistance any of the writers here would be glad to help you. I have been know to punch a poem or two for folks. Writing is a delight for most of us.

Sunrise​

I awaken to see the suns glow
Reflected in your eyes

Glowing in your hair
And in between your thighs
When I look at you I wish
That every morning could be like this

The rise of your chest
The curve of your hips

The sparkle in your eyes
The smile on your lips

The warmth of your heart
The fire of your sex
I can not wait to see where we go next

A trip to the moon
Or to the store
You are the woman that I adore

The future is bright
Of this I know
I awaken with you to see the suns glow

Thanks... I think that i have truely found what love means.. It means doing something you never thought youd do, just because that person inspires you to do so. Writing has never been my forte, but I now have things running through my mind that i cant help but write down.

I want to thank her if she sees this... she knows who she is. Not only have you made each day brighter but you have expanded my mind and the realm of the possible, for that I will always love you!

Philly, I've never yet met anyone who is happy with thier creative work, be they writer, poet, artist or musician, that's what drives them to always do more, so they can improve their work in their own eyes. And that list has me right at the top lol, I'm never happy with anything I write.

fingers and toes all counted, all treasured
swaddled and warm, your crying abates
and finally that moment I gaze at your face
all pain forgotten, I feel weary no more
your father and I can only adore
perfection we made that night long ago
our beautiful daughter, created with love

Ah darn, you got me to a tear, for that special feeling is so dear and when you hold them near and close and give them that first kiss on the nose and then want count kiss and count each finger and toe, you stop and thank god for such a special gift. Very Nice Poem Azure Dreams

Beautiful... ...having two sons of my own the sentiment doesn't change...the parents of the world have the greatest responsibility and the biggest hearts to share with the children...
