Laurel, they're brilliant littel things. There are clubs for them here, they're wildly popular. And so easy to park <g>

I've wanted one since I saw them in Europe recently. At first I wanted a Smart, but they won't be coming to the US for a couple of years. Plus, BMW makes quality, safe cars, and from what I've heard, the Mini is no exception.

The added bonus is the awesome gas mileage. I'll be on the road for hundreds of miles while Juliangel's spending $$$ filling up her Explorer's tank.
