It just stinks when you've got a story or two off to a promising start, and then don't head from your partner for a couple of weeks.

At least my group thread is keeping me occupied at the moment. And I've got another idea or two in the works.

I do that. I give two weeks. If after that, no response? Buh-bye. If the story starts off sexy and doesn't develop an actual story line? Buh-bye. I don't come here to cyber fuck. I come here to write. So if the story I am working on isn't helping me with that goal? Buh-bye.

And the job is easy enough. I am a front desk clerk at a hotel chain...so check-ins, delivering towels, whatever...(except for the days I am in laundry or cleaning rooms or the lobby...or helping outside or covering someone who didn't show up...)

Basically, this is supposed to be my easy day BUT the phone's ring, people need things...and I disappear.
