In the RW I am in my bedroom, wrapped in a quilt, listening to slow soulful R&B while shivering and waiting for the medicine to kick in.

HERE?

I am sitting front of a roaring fireplace, trying to find words for the shadowless woman and slowly driving myself insane.

This can only end in tears.

The typing stops as I pull up the next bit due.

A new thread, started with a woman whose writing skills are phenomenal and who understands the gist of the type of story I want to tell.

I take a few moments to read through her repsonse, getting a feel for Kiera. Then back to my inital post to reaquaint myself with Andi.

Brain ticks away quietly. Contemplation.

Eventually, the typing starts again.

I sit in my chair, jotting notes. I know that I have stuff to do BUT...somehow, I gotta get this spoken word down

Finally the beginnings of an idea for queer girl gone crazed by Fae design, Danica. Pulling my lap top toward me, I open it and pull up the appropriate thread, re-reading the very last post from a patient male.

Danica's reaction...

I can not put myself into this bit. As she and I have different responses all together, especially at THIS juncture...but, I have an idea...a thought...and so I shall...

*fingers begin to pick out words..*

Early morning bird song pulls me from my sleep.
I sit up and swing my legs round before rising from my bed with a stretch and a sigh.
I have much to accomplish today.
And am finally off to accomplish it all.

So, bathroom first and then down stairs to stoke up the fireplace and get a cuppa tea.

I have reading to do, writing to work on. I am still head achey BUT as the day goes by, i am sure that will not stay the case.

There is a slight disturbance in the flow of the air within Luna's haven. It grows slowly, near the ceiling, away from anything that would be disturbed by its presence. It grows stronger, swirling. Moments pass, colours mix in. They shift within, merging, morphing, blending until they become white.

A small piece of parchment descends from the white, which then slows and shrinks before disappearing all together, as if it were never there to start with.

The fluttering piece finally lands within easy reach of the one that claims the place as her own, and bears a simple message.

Be patient, for soon you will be gifted once more.

Looking up from my reading...I watch as a parchment flutters downward, to fall into my hand.

Oh. My.

A smile then as I allow myself to think on the story he and I are building. It is one of the more intense ones, mostly because I am allowing him to take the lead.

I fold the note up and stick it in a near by desk drawer.

Now, onto the next owed bit.

A sip of tea, as I go off to reread the pieces left behind today from a patient male and a poppet.

These will get worked on later today, after I work on the email piece.

But first...tea and quiet and reading.

My eyes have touched down on many places and I have gathered the ideas for gifts to let each person know that they are in my thoughts.

A whispered prayer.

Now, before i return to the land of stories, To R'Lea and Danica, there is something else that I must accomplish.

A piece written for a certain someone...and shared n the privacy of their PM box.

A bit of seduction...

Something given because I can give it.

A Gift

Many moons have past. Never did she think she would meander through these woods in search of the Wolf's homestead. It wasn't complicated to find. There's an aura about the place. She sets the large square box by the door, sensing the Wolfling is not home at the moment. It is wrapped in hues of blues and greens.

Inside the box are four items. Each item reminds her of Mz. Luna. Each wrapped in blue tissue. On the outside of each wrapped item is a small handwritten note.

Mz. Luna, these are called Fireflies In A Mason Jar. Since capturing real ones would not be such a good thing, I thought these would be the next best thing. I have always found them a fascinating part of nature. Just as you are. They bring a little light and joy into the lives of others, just as you do.

Candles for your window, so those who seek you out will always find their way without getting lost. All they have to do is follow the light. And cinnamon reminds me of you.

This needs little explanation but somehow, for some reason, Sage and Cinnamon go together where you're concerned in my mind and of course, we both know what these are used for.

The sea gave up these gifts and I am passing them along. We both find a measure of peace, cleansing and strength from it. These will hopefully help when you can't get away.

The Wolfing has been kind, generous and thoughtful where mine and I are concerned. The least I could do was repay that kindness in the only way I knew how. The gifts were just a symbol. A symbol of opening my heart once more to the Wolfling. Cautiously perhaps, but undeniable.

The Lady slips quietly into the growing night, whistling softly as she goes, hands tucked into her pockets.

Home again. My place of safety, of quiet.

Of peace.

Walking in, I find all of the gifts a Lady has left behind. They make me smile, make me sniffle too.

All of those things will be put to good use, but she knew that already.

So, I owe a PM to a dear friend and I need to settle down and think on my owed post for Andi.

The PM is most important.

Pulling out my lap top, surrounded by the scents of cinnamon and sage, I log into my PM box and get to work on a response for one who has become very dear, to me.

Not sure why I pulled a disappearing trick this time, except for the fact that things are beginning to overwhelm me and I am not sure how much more I can take.
