Linden follows the she-wolf into the cabin, looking around for the first time. The wolf has used her kind to build and decorate the cabin, but the respect for wood that is evident in her taste impresses her. Wood, like prey, is to be used or eaten by the strong; it is its purpose for existence and only waste or thoughtless use can not be forgiven.

I need this spot that is JUST mine. I hush the wolfling and move to the fireplace. Ash, cedar chips, and then a thought. The fire whooshes into being.
