Truth of the matter she wasn't too overly worried about the Stallion, he had his route that he 'escaped' to. The real concern is that he is a very frisky beast and tends to seek out the mares. She watched the monitors for a couple more moments as Lucifer left the room to see where the Stallion ran off too. After seeing where he headed, she smiled knowing he'll be easy to catch this time.
She grabbed the cell phone and started making her calls while she went to her room for different shoes. The whole time she thought of his response to her question and laughed to herself. Changing her attitude will be a challenge for the both of them that much she can promise.
While he waited for her, he would find two plaques and a framed article on the fireplace mantel. The two plaques had a husband and wife names, most likely her parents, with the date of their birth and death. The article talked about a cruise ship getting caught up in a tsunami, no bodies or survivors were found. The date would have placed Krystal around the age of eight, possibly nine when it happened.
Shortly Krystal came back down stairs talking on the phone and telling the person on the other end that they are getting a month off with pay. Instead of making other calls with the same message, she told the person to tell the others which would free her up. After hanging up the call, she smiled at Lucifer while walking towards him.
"Ready when you are. The Stallion will be easy enough, I watched where he went all it'll take is some corralling and closing the gate behind him. He can remain in the field for a while.... If he stays put that is."
Of course with Loki, that's easier said than done. Krystal wasn't too sure of what to do for the mare though and thought about calling the vet, yet no matter how it's looked at, they wouldn't get here in time. They were at least an hour away from the closest vet in the area. But it is also a situation she has seen many times before as well, she just hasn't dealt with it alone before.
"And I think you should follow me since I know where we are going. I guess this could be considered the quickie tour."
She giggled and took his hand to lead the way.
