Do we have any other there? A Lucid Dreamer is a person who can realize they are dreaming, and take control of their dreams while still asleep. I used t be able to do this when I was younger, but it's a practised skill, and I stopped trying.

Also, I'm interested if anyone knows anything about Dream analysis. I've had a couple crazy ones lately and I'm not about to call into that show in the SciFi channel to get some "expert" to tell me I need more sex.

However, if one of *you* tell me, I'm sure I'll believe it.
*grin*

Do you: dream in color?

Do you: feel pain/pleasure in your dreams?

Do you: remember your dreams? In detail?

What's it all mean?

Go.

The StudMuffin does that and I sincerely hate it when he does. His sleep isn't as restful and he's usually stressed out when he wakes up in the morning.

There's also a marked increase in teeth grinding, sleep-talking, and trashing about the bed. He even almost managed to unseat the Chihuahua-Yeti from his undisputed throne as king of the bed during one particularly violent dream.

As for myself, I'm not a lucid dreamer. I'm aware I'm dreaming, but I don't try to take control. I just go with the flow. I dream in color, I dream with scent and sound, I feel pain/pleasure/emotions, and I sometimes remember in vivid detail, usually completely forget.

It's amazing when I'm sleeping and dreaming of something a bit scary, how I think no, not that and change the dream into something good.

Sometimes in color.

Never feel pain, probably because of being able to c hange the dream. lol

Yes I can feel pleasure. Contentment, happiness and love.

I can remember every dream in full detail if I am allowed two to three minutes to lay there after waking up. Or else during the day I'll happen to remember bits and pieces.

Hmmm.

I have had some doozies in my life. Lately it seems that I have been having some real strange ones. (I wonder if it has anything to do with lit?)

Usually I can tell if I have had a weird dream during the night while at home. My wife will have gone to the couch to sleep.

Never have dreamed much...never used to have many bad dreams either, but lately that's all I seam to have...

I know that feeling. After a particularily vivid dream, I wake cranky, and unsettled, and it has followed me throughout the day sometimes.

Also understand this. I've even waken up on the floor. Not comfortable.

Thanks. Interesting. :)

Thanks. I used to change things all the time, but not anymore. I wonder why that is. Hmmm.

Could have something to do with Lit. I find sometimes I have dreams about posting. Don't ask me - I'm almost too scared to think about it in detail.

Maybe this explains why my bed is trashed and my hubby is so irritated with me in the morning. Thanks.

Hmmm - something different going on, perhaps? Thanks.

I've dreamt in colour, I remember some of them, and in some yes I felt pain or pleasure depending of what kind of dream it is:eek:

Re: Hi Eve, nice to meet you

Nice to meet you as well, Lioness.

Since having children, I've been able to control my dreams, to some extent. I can stop a nightmare dead in its tracks, as long as it's long enough for me to realize that I'm dreaming. I think it's because I sleep much more lightly now, having trained myself to have one ear open for babies.

I've done this also, but lately I've been having dreams where a baby won't stop crying and I wonder who that bad mother is who can't comfort her child just to wake and know it's me. *sigh*

I've also done this with the alarm clock, have a dream that I try to turn it off, and it's still blaring. Usually ends with my stomping on it, or smashing it with a bat before I wake up and realize I'm late!

Yes, I dream in color. I don't have very many sexual dreams at all (boo hoo), but I do have kissing dreams, which always end way too quickly. I feel like they're real, though. The most intense ones are the ones I have about the ocean. It's always high tide and very rough water, and I can feel myself riding a huge wave or feel terror that I'm about to be hit by one on the beach. Those are kind of scary.

I don't remember all that many dreams. Maybe if I actually slept more... :)

Lioness

The sexual ones I've had have been *ahem* very vivid. Those I wake up from feeling nice and relaxed. *grin*

Thanks.

Thanks Avery - I recommend the pleasure ones over the pain. Well, *my* pleasure ones are better, anyway.

Technicolor!!

Pain and pleasure!

Remember?? Occasionally, but really after having a bad one waking up in a fighting mode, fists flying! I'm dangerous to sleep with.

I don't have clue.:D

I'm sure you are.... *grin*

And I've woken up so mad at people from the events in my dreams, I've called them at 6am just to tell them off. Ok, really just my sister, but she was having as affair with my husband! And happily admitted it!! (in th dream, of course!)

Thanks plasticman!

Re: Lucid Dreamers? Do we have any out there?
Yes, I can do that, I can usually control the direction of my dream, but I rarely wake myself up unless it's a terrifying dream. I usually get jolted awake as soon as something bad happens, or as I'm being attacked/shot whatever.

Do you: dream in color?
Yes, everytime.

Do you: feel pain/pleasure in your dreams?
Yes, when I do have action filled dreams, I can feel the pain/pleasure, and when I wake up I can still feel traces of it lingering on. Especially nice when I wake up just before I have an orgasm (in my dream), which seems like everytime.

Do you: remember your dreams? In detail?
Yes, my friends sometimes can't believe the details I remember when I'm explaining the dreams to them.

What's it all mean?
Over-active imagination?? :)

Respectively,

Yes I can, but it's relative to the "topic" of the dream.
Yes I dream in colour.
Yes I feel pleasure. I've never recalled feeling pain.
Yes I often remember them I also have reocurring dreams.
I have NO idea.
