Actually, it's worse than that. The girl was apparently a sex slave, and that pimp was her "owner." He is in prison, or out on bail, charged with some serious crimes.

I can't help wondering how a person can know that a call girl is over 16, which would have made her legal in NY. I don't know how it will play out, but I don't believe a jury will convict LT of statutory rape under the circumstances. He will probably be convicted of soliciting an act of prostitution and pay a fine.

I consider this to be very much like the case of Traci Lords, at least as far as LT is concerned.

ETA: According to this, the alleged pimp has been denied bail, which is right, since he is a parolee. I hope they throw him under the jail.
