I like petite, feminine women with straight dark hair. A lot of Asian women meet that criteria but I don't feel that it make my desires a fetish

I know I'm responding to a two-year-old post, but this is me, exactly! I'm attracted to petite/slender women. I'm attracted to brunettes, especially with longer hair. So immediately I'm going to find a higher percentage of Asian women attractive. Also, though I believe this emerged later in my life (my forties) I began to realize that I was attracted to Asian features.

The 'yellow fever' label bothers me. There seems to be a belief in some quarters that if one is attracted to Asian women then it means an attraction to (or curiosity about) Asian female stereotypes such as mysteriousness or docility. I have no interest in those stereotypes and don't believe they're factual. Though this sounds funny, I'll admit the appeal to me is almost entirely superficial; I think Asian women are hot. My girlfriend of many years is Asian.

BTW, I *just* discovered this thread and I'm totally digging it.
