Lovelace, the movie

I saw Alice in a movie theatre. My BIL, usually a very taciturn country guy, took his wife {my sister who was about eight months pregnant at the time} and me.

That would have been an . . . interesting evening.

I found it on Limewire a few years ago and downloaded it. My wife and I have watched it several times. We even went to a Halloween party one year dressed as Alice and the Mad Hatter, as a sort of inside joke ;)

I know. You misunderstood my joke. How did the mother of Linda Lovelace do? I should have said "She sucked more than Linda" maybe?

:D

It's an interesting flick, don't expect to see any porn though. Her mother was a cold hearted bitch ....

I thought her mother, ultimately, came across a lot more complex than that.

Sharon Stone's? I thought it was in just opening her thighs.

Ha ha!! :D Yep, that is her rep, but faking that shit isn’t as easy as it seems! Honestly, she didn’t have to express any deep emotions, but she was very believable.

Porn had always been around as stag films, and the better ones were rented from private lending libraries.

Lovelace's significance rested on her appeal and embrace by American females. Every woman I knew back then wanted to see DEEP THROAT. Lovelace wasn't pretty or glamorous. Her ordinary looks probably helped a lot.

I’ve never seen Deep Throat, but the actress who plays her is attractive, adorable, and ordinary. Maybe people actually do get tired of watching the “proto-type” blonde.

I’ve heard Deep Throat, though, was cheesy as hell.
