My other über cheap comfort food when I am sick is extra noodles Lipton chicken soup with lots of crackers. I don’t think I’ve ever added crackers to my ramen, that’s where you’ve lost me.

I should have mentioned only as a soup.

Buttered beef ramen is a nice side to steak. A ribeye, ramen, and some creamed spinach or asparagus. Meal fit for a king.
 
Kinda get the feeling most people in this thread have never had spam. It gets a bad rap but it really aint too bad. If you say you absolutely won't eat something, you've never been truly hungry.

Beef stew in a can is ok, it does the job. The beef part is definitely...uh...questionable but it's edible.

I avoid fish in a can but again, if you're hungry.

Chicken in a can is fine. Other than the 3 tons of salt, a can of chicken noodle soup with some good old fashioned saltines is some good shit.
