Love is

Love is knowing that you would do anything for somone.

Love is stomach cramps that feel kind of good.

Love is an emotional catalyst.

holding on for dear life in the middle of a train wreck and coming out together on the other side

I sometimes wonder if I ever truly knew, or have simply fooled myself into thinking I did...

Sometimes I know this feeling so very well! Although sometimes its 'holding on for dear life in the middle of a train wreck and hoping to come out together on the other side'

Love is... When you are with her the whole time and still can't get enough of her smile.

Giving yourself over to something/someone so completely you feel empty without it/them.

I've Loved You Before: Melissa Etheridge

When I think of how you know me
No doubts
No thinkin' twice
When your smile can be so soothing
A familiar paradise
When there's no one else that makes me whole
I am never needing more
I get this feeling
That I have loved you before

Were we lovers in an army
Marching off for Rome?
Side by side in battle
Did we bravely leave our home?
Did I hold you in my arms
As you were taking your last breath?
Did I shout to all the gods
That I would love you beyond death
Or more?
I swear I've loved you before.

Did we hide amid our pages
From a vengeful god above?
Were our names too unfamiliar
To ever speak of love?
Did I cling to every moment with you
Every parting glance?
An accidental touch
Did we ever take the chance
For more?
I know I've loved you before.

Have I wandered through the desert?
Have I looked to love's north star?
Have I rode the days & nights on rails
To get back where you are?
And every time I found you
It's your eyes I know for sure

When I think of how you know me
No doubts
No thinkin' twice
When your smile can be so soothing
A familiar paradise
When there's no one else that makes me whole
I am never wanting more
I get this feeling
I know I've loved you before

Love is... when you try and describe it and the words fail you.

It's also when everything else just fades into insignificance, and you don't give a damn who you're talking to or what you're saying, and end up doing something really bizarre, like telling a politician it was so cold this morning that you've had to put on your thermal underwear

Love is also trying to write about it and getting completely lost in that world to the point where you lose all track of time.

Love is also her kisses

All in all, love rocks! :nana: :D

Love is accepting it all. Good. Bad. Pretty. Ugly. Fits of temper, cuddles that last for hours, jealousy, openness... All of it.

Love is waiting patiently for that special someone.
Love is having ten voice messages all from concerned family members on your cell phone because they heard you were sick.

love is a wild and incougrous thing, sometimes decietful sometimes not.

Love is faith

...listening to a voicemail that's a very passable imitation of Elvis singing "I Can't Help Falling in Love With You."

:D

Me: You're beautiful, and I love you.
My 6 year old: I love you more than anyone else, plus a thousand hundred billions.

:cathappy:
