Love is

Love is...tucking my oldest son into bed and having him call me back in the room just to say "mommy can i have anothr kiss i just love you so much", my heart melted  .

Love is...having my youngest son (who's never been much of a cuddler AT ALL) decide that he wants to watch a movie while curled next to me in the chair...he didn't even ask, just climbed up and snuggled next to my chest  , i almost cried...

Love is Fem's care and concern for her dear friend Vana, and all the help she's given her friend through the most difficult challenges imaginable.

 to both

Just something I read and thought I would share.

Edible Gifts

One holiday, my husband and I picked out all our presents together, so we both knew what we were going to get. Out of money, and still wanting to surprise him, I thought of a gift that was perfect for him. I got an old baby food container and filled it half with honey and half with sugar. I then put a label on it that read, edible exfoliater. Then I ran a bath with candles, flowers and the works. He loved it! The honey and sugar mix is a great skin exfoliater for the bathtub, and it’s edible so it works in the bedroom too. If the taste is a little strong, add a dab of vanilla extract.

Love is waking up from a bad dream, reaching for your lover in the dark and feeling all the bad thoughts disappear the moment your fingers touch their skin.

... takes my breath away. Out of extreme happiness and disbelief. The most relevant thing I can think of is when my kitten was really small and he kept trying to climb up to my face when he was on my lap. It was so sweet, I couldn't believe it! I had only had him a few days. It made me have tears in my eyes.

..knowing that even when you hurt the person you love, they will still be there to hold you during the night and kiss you awake in the morning.

Love is carrying the guilt of the one who left, and knowing that the one you are with understands.

Cat

Catching their eyes and feeling your heart skip.

Holding their hand and never wanting to let go.

Sleeping on one side of the bed even when you have it all to yourself.

Calling them at stupid times in the day cause you miss their voice.

Aching until you can see them again.

Wanting just one more kiss before they go...

Love is the only sensation I know that can make me ache and cause me so much pleasure at the same time.

Realizing that the thing you look forward to the most every day is the sound of her voice over the phone. The intamacy of hearing her moan in ecstacy brings you close enough to quell the loneliness...at least until tomorrow.
