Love is

having the strength to walk away, even when it hurts.

knowing that you will always share a part of one another, even if no one ever acknowledges it.

my children and their laughter...early in the morning. :heart:

...knowing what not to say
...still being pulled into her gaze even after all the mistakes
...respecting her space

Love is sharing with her what you see... and reveling in the beauty when she sees it too. Love is knowing that it will not always be that way - and then having the patience, understanding and unconditional acceptance to know you are different, and to love because of that - not inspite of that. :rose:

My Luve is like a red, red rose,
that's newly sprung in June;
My Luve is like a melodie,
That's sweetly played in tune.

As fair art thou, my bonie lass,
So deep in luve am I;
And I will luve thee still, my Dear,
Till a' the seas gang dry.

Till a' the seas gang dry, my Dear,
And the rocks melt wi' the sun;
And I will luve thee still, my Dear,
While the sands o' life shall run.

And fare-thee-weel, my only Luve!
And fare-thee-weel, a while!
And I will come again, my Luve,
Tho' 'twere ten thousand mile!

Yeah well, love is kinda cute and squiggly sometimes.
Yeah ... it is. ;)

Love is...

...taking the bull by the horns, even though you feel like shit, because your partner is swamped with school and scrambling to complete a project.

It's also in the constant asking, "How are you feeling," even when it gets annoying.

:rose:

knowing that when you hurt, they hurt too...and that when the roles are reversed you would do anything to help them.

Missing them, even if they have only been gone a day.

An endless surprise..

Love is...

... elusive at best.

I'm beginning to wonder if I should go back to men, because I'm having one hell of a problem finding a woman who doesn't turn out to be a closet psycho after a couple of months.

PM for an application form :catroar:

......determining never to put one's lover in a nursing home. If one's lover becomes an invalid, taking care of her for the rest of her life (though I hope this never happens, of course).

Love is the emblem of eternity: it confounds all notion of time: effaces all memory of a beginning, all fear of an end.

Love is "Never having to say your sorry".

Sorry, Love Story was on last night. How America once thought that load of crap was a good movie????? The 70's was full of shit and unfortunately, that was my youth.
I've always disagreed with this sentiment. I believe that Love is saying you're sorry and meaning it. :kiss:
