Love block? Can't write anymore...

Help! Is there suck thing as writer's block being caused by being in love???? OK, so maybe not caused by..but here's my problem:
I sit down and write a stanza or two - I'm really feeling it... and then nothing. I have all these thoughts and emotions bottled up, but they won't come out... I start to think that it's because I don't want to do an unjustice to my feelings?..... Or perhaps I haven't the words for accurate description. When I write about something/someone else, I don't have this issue so much. I know that everyday life is an issue/obstacle to getting anything written down, but even when i take my time... nada.

Anybody else feel this way? Thanks

Firegoddess- you might try writing about your confusion/dilemna over writing itself. If may not turn into poetry, but may help clarify it for you.

Congratulations. On being in love, I mean. For better or worse, there's nothing like it.

I think you're right about one thing. It's a blizzard of emotions, and it's pretty hard to describe. Personally, I almost never try to write a poem about something that I'm in the middle of experiencing. Be it love, sorrow, anger, sex, frisbee golf... I wait until it is behind me, and I can look back at it.

I am beginning to plow through this wall..
Apparently emotional turmoil is good for my writing ?!?!
Love exciting and new comes with exposure of my most tender parts...
