Anyone else having one of those nights? I'm so edgy and 'off' that it's unreal.

Late for work because the washing machine decided not to switch cycles and took two hours to wash my clothes.

Got nothing done at work.

Took me 15 minutes to set the stupid alarm at the store tonight. finally figured out that they'd taken the sensor off the back door during the day, and not fixed it. So I duct taped it together.

My inlaws are coming to visit. They're total neat freaks, and we're remodeling, so the house is a wreck. I have two days to get the place clean, the refrigerator stocked, and the guestroom useable. All while working my ass off at the rest of my life.

Last week sucked too... the holidays, the driving, the funeral... i need sleep... i need to actually feel connected to another human being... i need to not feel like an observer.

DISCLAIMER: this is a random rant. don't feel obligated to flame me.

you're not alone

With only a few glowing exceptions, things haven't been right since the Thanksgiving weekend. I can't put my finger on it, but I've been just a little off. Nothing is clicking easily into place.

I just keep telling myself that for as bad as it gets, it will one day be equally as good. Now if I can just wait it out.

forgive me if I'm wrong but didn't you just lose your job. Not that it makes a difference as there will always be better days.

Re: Re: Lousy Night

no. paganangel lost his job. so far, i still have mine.

My lousy day has turned into a lousy night.:(

I'm feeling extremely disconnected as well; waiting in vain to hear from someone that I hope is o.k., just "detained" overnight (and unable to reach me because I'm still on this damned PC!).

I think tomorrow will be better, but what do I know?

Hugs for all concerned.

Things do seem "off" here in upstate NY as well. Of course that could be the sixty degree temperatures and lack of snow.

I'm sure the events of September Eleventh are putting a damper on things as well.

I wish you all a very Merry Chritmas and a happy Holiday season.

Best wishes all.

Hey, you guys better have some snow by Christmas. I am planning on being up there with family, and I gotta get my snow fix. My parents live in Rome. They are there thanks to Griffiss AFB and retired there. What is the long range forcast?

Sorry for your bad night PCG...Hope this morning proves better for you.

Hey there PCG...i send big hugs to you for comfort.
i also am getting your warm bubblebath ready with vanilla aromatic candles for a soothing and relaxing atmosphere. perhaps a nice warm drink and your big fuzzy housecoat for the softness and warmth.

hope it helps.
hugs!:)
