Lost

7 left until the show is over. Season finale. Are you talking about watching all six seasons?

7 left until there is no more?

If that is so... then yes, I cant remember the last time I watched TV, mostly because my work schedule varies so much and I find it's not worth getting 'into' something when I cannot see it the following night or week.

I'm thinking.... I could possibly watch the whole LOST series - back to back - during the early part of the summer when I dont work so much....

ABC also has the series at its website.

As much as I laughed watching the fake riding, that episode blew me away. I've always loved Richard, and getting so much ore information about him was awesome.

Oh Blast. Perhaps you can rent each season from the video/dvd store?

Thanks again there.

I think maybe I'll wait til there's a great big box series out on DVD and have a LOST FEST one summer - hopefully this one.

Hulu is a website. Not sure if you can get it there. Hulu.com
If not they have them out on DVD. Like I said though, don't ruin it by watching current episodes.

And agreed: it was amazing learning more about Ricarrdo. :)

Get Hulu in California? Yeah, frequently.

if only I had chance, but sometimes it good/nasty/good to have watched a little of something and then to be able to say..... Oh I bet he does blah blah blah... in some sort of pseudo innocence...

I think I could probably ruin the viewing experience by actually reading this thread - but for me is OK am only latching onto the end where I saw someone mention there were (possibly) 7 episodes left...

Well, I was kinda hoping Richard was part of the ancient Egyptian workgang that built the four-toed statue, but his backstory was still pretty interesting. I forgot Hugo was Hispanic, too.

Good episode overall, but I kept thinking of The Count of Monte Cristo.

tonight...

"The Package"
Sun and Jin continue to search for each other; Locke confronts his enemy.

I cannot wait for the moment of impact for Sun and Jin. They have one of the deepest love stories of all the entanglements. I wish they'd hurry up and reunite. Crossing fingers tonight is the night (no East Coast spoilers, please!!)

Last week's episode was the shizzle...this week's was rather lame.

So, on the upside, I suppose next week's epi will be AWESOME yet again??

Dog barking nonstop down the road. I could use a dart now. Well, I have tons of darts for my electronic dart board... I mean one that will silence the fucker for the night.

I'm not sure where Desmond fits into the plan or how he can help. Might have something to do with his ability to flash back and forth or whatever it is that he does. I thought we were so past the whole "I only speak Korean"!

Agreed. Last night was .... sorta lameass anti climatic. I was expecting some development there, but it felt like just more swirling.

The hotel room scene between Jin and Sun was pretty *hot* ..... but that was honestly the only enjoyable moment from last night. The rest of the sideways flash seemed to exist just to put Jin in the freezer when Sayid went apeshit postal and killed Keamey and his goons.

Predictable and lame alert: Sun has reverted to only speaking Korean. Like Jin formerly could only. *yawnfuckingyawn*

I knew Desmond would be back (meow!)

How about...

The island is the 'cork' in the carafe' , holding the evil fastened in whatever dimension it exists in...
almost like some lock on Pandora's Box.

The Jacob / Esau set up reflects the anima/animus good/bad yin/yan duality concept of wholeness.
Only together do they enable/empower the island to operate as the cork.

Remove one from the island , the duality fails , the island ceases to operate at peak , evil is unleashed.
Killing one entity is not enough. He/it/the energy still exists on the island. Killing it simply reduces its ability to intervene.
Thus allowing the other to more easily manipulate escape from the island.

Thus would he , as some form of Lord of Evil walk free amid the wave of his dark nature, that would follow him as the island could no longer hold it back...

Candidature relates to one suited to become part of that eternal balance by virtue of growing awareness of their own duality , and replace that one leaving , thus negating his role and cancelling the islands failure and overspill of bad stuff....

Side story shows all seemingly happy until the crescendo when evil swarms on it and they all pay bigtime for failing in the 'predestined' task destiny set ahead of them.

or , not...

Dezzy has been asleep for a few weeks now, right? Last time I saw him was on the Sideways Time line plane.

Desmond has been sedated on the sub with Widmore and crew. Did you catch the very brief scene at the end of last week's episode where he and Sayid see eye to eye, so to speak, at the dock? He was being dragged by the Widmore people. He looked quite glassy eyed.
