Lost

Really enjoyed tonights episode. Tough week for Sawyer, had to film scenes with both Jodi Lynn O'keefe and Rebecca Mader, damn shes hot!!! love those eyes. Not sure what Widmores plan is for Smoky. Can he be killed? Interesting seeing Claires reaction to being slapped, not buying her apology to Kate. Nice of Sayid to help her out, looks like he's really gone off the deep end now.

Can't wait for next weeks episode, finally get to see Richards backstory:)

Yah, was wondering what Smoky was insinuating about his Mother being crazy. Ever wonder if he and Jacob are brothers?

Better than any I've ever been on

So I was thinking as i was watching last nights episode, how this season the cast is pretty much split up into two different groups. In the past we would go a week or two without seeing certain people so I pose the question, which actor/actress or character makes the show for you?

That is a tough question, especially this season. Locke (O'Quinn) was easily my favorite in the first seasons, but now he isn't the same. He is showing the same knowledge he used to supernaturally posses, but now we know it's because the smoke monster took over. Sawyer is definitely in the running after last night's show.

I thought pretty much the same after last nights episode, I was like man, Sawyer is really carrying this show right now. Having said that, I like where Jack is heading after the scene with the dynamite, he's really opening up to things now and not just the stubborn ol Jack we got used to seeing.

The only thing I don't like about it is I don't think Sawyer is that good of an actor. He is better this season then he used to be. I thought he did some really cheesy stuff the first few seasons. Jack has always been one of my favorites. I really think we will start to see more of him as the story unwinds, as I think he is the main "candidate" to take over.

Yah Sawyer doesn't seem to have much range as an actor, I find Jack over-acts sometimes, I think Locke is the best actor on the show next to Ben.

That is a safe bet. Ben was only supposed to be in 3 episodes, but they liked his acting so much they wrote more parts for him.

Anyone know the significance of Watership Down, Sawyer was reading it in the Sideways world..

I wish she would fix her hair....

I suspect Claire and Sayid will continue to come off the rails when it comes to attractive hair this season. They're both getting the crazy eyed, crazy hair look of Danielle Russo. Bummer. Both were pretty hot up until this season.

And Watership Down was the book Sawyer was reading on the beach in the first season, no? In the episode when he fixed himself up some eyeglasses by taping a few of them together? Then, he and Kate, was it?, had some interaction over the book. My memory of it is vague, but I remember it being in the first season.

Wiki sums the plot up in one sentence: "[T]he hero's journey into a realm of terrors to bring back some boon to save himself and his people"".

See, this to me says that the PTB aren't being totally truthful with us when they say they've had this whole thing mapped-out from the beginning.

But I don't care. I'm loving every minute of it.

The producers were quite candid back in July when they admitted that the original plan was to have the series revolve around Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalt the final season but neglected to factor in the fact that an 8 year old boy missing for a few years would be virtually unrecognizable as a 14 year old teenager.
