I'm not a chick, but I will say Dominic Monaghan looks infinitely better as a scruffy ex-junkie has-been rocker than a homo-erotic hobbit. I think he also gets to show a lot more acting range here. He has a lot of character to him. He actually strikes me as a likeable guy now and not someone I'd want to bitchslap. So, if I was a chick...
