Lost

I love this show, but nothing EVER happens on it!!!

Beyond the Sea
as sung by Bobby Darin, Jan 1960
based on the French song "La Mer"

Somewhere beyond the sea
somewhere waiting for me
my lover stands on golden sands
and watches the ships that go sailin

Somewhere beyond the sea
she's there watching for me
If I could fly like birds on high
then straight to her arms
I'd go sailing

It's far beyond the stars
it's near beyond the moon
I know beyond a doubt
my heart will lead me there soon

We'll meet beyond the shore
we'll kiss just as before
Happy we'll be beyond the sea
and never again I'll go sailing

I know beyond a doubt
my heart will lead me there soon
We'll meet (I know we'll meet) beyond the shore
We'll kiss just as before
Happy we'll be beyond the sea
and never again I'll go sailing

no more sailing
so long sailing
bye bye sailing...

Its just now after six here. I missed several the first time around with this show so I'm excited about tonight.

thanks johnny. :)

Sawyer & Kate stripped down to swim in a waterfall-fed lake they found ... diving, they found a row of seas with a family buckled in & holding hands.

Beneath the father's seat: The Marshal's briefcase ... now in Sawyer's possession.

And Boone told his sister, Shannon she's useless.
I think I'm finally catching on. It's pretty good.

Except I missed the part where Kate said the airplane belonged to the guy she loved and then she said the guy she killed. What was that about?

She's a wanted fugitive, a two-offense criminal. Apparently one is robbing a bank & the other is murder.

Ok, but did we find out who she killed?

If anybody got killed in the robbery she is legally culpable, whether she pulled the trigger or not. It's a wait and see.

the man she loved, who was the owner of the airplane.

that hasn't been delved into any further than that.

Someone unrelated to the robbery, since her partners were unaware of her identity and the safe deposit box.

The box containing the plane which belonged to the man she would love and kill, if she hadn't already. I wonder if she'll take on an Alias type persona, since the show is created by the same guy.

But don't you find it hard to believe that she would plan and orchestrate and armed robbery just to retrieve a memento? And if her name wasn't on the account, who put it in the box?

uh the man she loved, her boyfriend, owned the box would be my guess. Or someone close to him.

Which would explain why she had the key already - and she did say she wasn't on the list.

and it isn't like a great many things in this show is very believable.

You needn't feel compelled to scrutinize fiction. :)

But that's the whole fun of shows like this. That and the ladies' wardrobe, or lack thereof.

She said she killed the man she loved, she didnt say it was her boyfriend or that he owned the safety deposit box. She didnt have the key, it was in the dead man's pocket.

Amazing that with all that's going on, she still finds time to shave her armpits.
:(

*sigh* the first sentence of yours is my guess.

The last sentence isn't correct.

Yeah, the dead man had the key to the BRIEFCASE, but she had one of the keys to the deposit box, which is what I was referring to. And since she had the customer key to the deposit box, I'm guessing that she got it directly from the man she loved/killed.

Okay, good theory

Does it make sense to anyone else how the characters have all seemingly accepted the fact Claire was kidnapped & have just moved on with island life?

I did like seeing Sawyer hauled in to the police station when Boone was talking to the detective about Shannon, though. Nice twist.
