Lost

I thought last night's espisode was VERY well done. I'm not surprised that we didn't
see Locke. They're saving that resolution for season finale.

I'm still standing by my assertion that he'll be saved by Ben's daughter (who may not be his daughter?!?)

Now they just need to either resolve that Dezmond's visions aren't always accurate or find a way to drown Charlie after he saves the island.

I hope they don't kill off Charlie. I really like him.

I watch last night and all along I thought, yeah there is still 3 years left of this

wasnt a good feeling

That underwater station was wild. The previews showed Desmond in there with a gun I think. .

I liked the way that Charlie (as whiny as he is) made that list. That was good writing.

I wonder if we really will learn anything new ?

ABC 5/17/2007 at 10:15: Executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse explore the mysteries of the island and recap some of the revelations made this season as well as those yet to come.

I thought last nights episode was absolutely great. I can't wait to see how they end this season.. but it's definitely starting to sound like this is heading towards them being saved.

Yes. In the end lost is all about time travel anyhow. Thus pure fantasy ;).

You know, I really was upset with the end. Shut the fuck up! Don't laugh, don't yell, don't attract attention to yourself when you sneak into the enemy's facility, even if you think it's abandoned. Shush. As soon as he raised his head above the water I was thinking: "Don't do it, don't make a sound, don't get too cocky."

And there you go. Poor dope.

It reminded me of a "Hiro" moment. LMAO!

Nothing really to offer except that the chica who plays the female lead in 'The Hitcher' could be Freckles' younger sister.

1) I'm referring to the newest 'Hitcher' sans Rutger Hauer but instead some weirdo creepo.

2) Her first name is Sophia and when she gets a worried look about her (95% of the film) she is Kate to a T.

It's not his daughter. Unless Rousseau has been lying, the father is somebody completely different, and is also dead.

What I don't get is, why is everyone saying this episode was nothing spectacular, and ONLY setting things up for the grand finale.

Hell, I thought this was one of the most emotional episodes, also very cleverly written.

Charlie never was my favourite character, at some times he was even indefinite to me. But I really, really felt for him. And I almost cried, which never happens.

So I thought this episode was brilliant and is clearly underrated.

Can't wait to see the finale though, even though I made the mistake and read the spoilers.

My money is on Ben stole her as a baby and raised her, and calls himself her father. Didn't Rousseau think her daughter was dead ?

I think he was just so excited he made the dive that he started yelling all the while thinking the station was deserted.

Rousseau told them that the Others stole her baby, which is why they thought Clare's baby was in danger as well, in the first season. I don't remember her ever saying her daughter was dead, but she may have speculated that she didn't know if she was dead or alive. I'm sure that when they did take her, Ben "adopted" her.

I don't recall seeing him, maybe someone who has it on disc can confirm or deny it.
According to Lostpedia, Roger has only been in 2 episodes - The Man Behind the Curtain, and Tricia Tanaka is Dead - his appearance in TTID was in skeleton form.

2 hour season finale is tonight...

‘Through the Looking Glass’
Jack and the castaways begin efforts to make contact with Naomi's rescue ship.

ETA: The new episode starts at 9PM EST, the hour before is a replay of "The Answers"

from TV Guide...

It's war between the beach folk and the Others. And before the two-hour season closer is over, several people won't be breathing that fresh ocean air anymore. "The finale is very emotional and character-driven," says exec producer Damon Lindelof. While Jack gets the flashbacks, the episode also explores the ramifications of Sawyer killing Locke's father. As for the cliff-hanger — code-named "The Rattlesnake" by producers because, as Lindelof says, "nobody expects a rattlesnake in their mailbox" — the reveal will signal seismic changes for the drama, laying the groundwork for Lost's recently announced final three seasons. You won't see the show again until February 2008, when it returns with 16 consecutive episodes  , so this finale should be one to remember... for eight looong months.

Jorge Garcia (Hurley) was on Jimmy Kimmel last night, and he said the ending is shocking, when he read the script it made him speechless and he had to let everything sink in on his drive home.

Noooooo. 8 months till more Lost after this? Still can't wait to see it but damnit.

Dammit. I'm gonna have to watch it online tomorrow. I am taking the kids to a circus tonight.

GRRRR!

I won't see it until Saturday, but I can wait. Because then Ill have a day of Lost and Pirates, hooray. Anyways, if the ending is what the rumors have it, then it's definitely going to be shockin, but I can imagine a lot of people will also not be very pleased with it.

By the way, 8 months of a wait is a long time, but I'll definitely use the break to rewatch all the episodes. Because right now i'm already having trouble with recalling all of everyone's backgrounds.

Oh, if they kill Locke, I'll spend the 8 motnhs crying.....

again from TV Guide...Ausiello Report

Question: Before I pull my hair out, any little hints or spoilers or anything to get me even more jazzed about tonight's Lost finale? I am so excited!—
Ausiello: At the risk of overhyping it, the game-changer (aka the "snake in the mailbox") will go down in the history books as one of the coolest TV twists of all time.
Question: You recently scooped that there were going to be five deaths on Lost, and so far there has only been one: Locke's dad.—
Ausiello: I suck at arithmetic, but I guess that means there'll be at least four more tonight. Someone should double-check my math just to be sure. By the way, head over to the Ausiello Report immediately following tonight's finale for an exclusive postmortem with exec producer Carlton Cuse.
