But I have to say, the old guy's back story and has getting his legs back was pretty fucking cool...although he seems a little too in control for the mess of a person he was before.

lol! I hope the Japanese husband gets killed and the Japanese wife goes wild! Also, the guy with the bad legs kind of jumps up and then starts running. Now, im no expert, but If I couldnt walk for a number of years, I dont think im going to get up so fast, and then RUN????

Yeah I thought about how impossible it would be to get up and run without any rehab and like no leg muscles. But the idea of him being able to get his legs back was cool.

Did you ever see Galaxy Quest? Funny movie take off of Star Trek where they had an 'annoying character' who was worried cuase he knew he was the one supposed to die all the time

According to TV guide, the couple is Korean, and you will find out about them real soon, she understands alot more than she lets on

Lost is pretty interesting, but they need to throw in a few lighter shows. Maybe how they'll set up a government without making it into some big scandal. We have enough politics to watch right now. Also, some time showing them building what will eventually become their village would be cool. Not a whole show dedicated to it, but a few minutes each show for something a little less stressful.
If they just watch old episodes of gilligans island, this thing could have a run of 2 or 3 seasons.

Okay, so we now know the whole story of the Japanese/Korean couple. I can see how tihs show can last a whole season as we spend each week delving into the past of each character. I'm not thrilled with how this slows down and takes away from what's going on.

And what's with Doc? If someone like Kate was flirting with me I don't care if I was at deaths door I would be on that bandwagon so fast...geez

I thought the Korean guy was made at the black guy cause he had seen her naked...not because a dumb watch.

But yeah, deciding on where to moved the party to would certainly be a tough decision.

I would stay on the beach for a least another week if I could...

Well obviuosly an asian transport shipped crashed their a long time ago. Their cargo we proably for a cirsus. Eventually people died off and the lone survivor was too lonely to continue living.
Problem with a polar bear on a tropical island is it too hot for them to survive. Guess it the same "magic" that let the great white hunter miraculously walk. And if they were there for what 50 years, isn't it hard to believe they didn't have any children? Or maybe they did and they children went all neandertal(sp?) and will eventually be a tribe on the other side of the island with which the lost people will have to fight.
As far as living arrangements go, they should all move to the cave. Then, you post a watch at the beach everyday. Work in shifts with 2 or 3 people taking each change. I think the directors wanted to create a split to create two societies. This will create a Survivor type of atmosphere/scenerio. That'll be pretty weak unfortunately. And Since posting a gaurd and everyone moving is such an obvious choice, it pretty obvious their intent was to create said , albeit unbelievable, divide.
